Dreams, horrible dreams. Like wildfire they spread in to his mind at every opportunity. While he slept or when his mind wandered. As though drifting on the mild breeze, he could still smell the damp stone walls. If he closed his eyes, he could almost hear the screams, almost feel the whip crack against his flesh.
Dewe looked up from the immaculately swept pavement. He didn't want to think about the past anymore. He took a good look around at the city he'd come to call home these past few weeks. Although it was only now for the first time that he had decided to take a look around. Just up ahead was a huge marketplace, people were selling everything from Moroccan spices to Belgian sausage. A little further ahead on the other side of the market he could see a hotel. The design was very old and incredibly grand. Atop both of the visible corners sat two gruesome looking gargoyles that looked down across the bustling market as people went about there business.
As he walked along a little he came to a shabby looking bar tucked between to large buildings of similar design to the hotel he could see further ahead. The sign above the door hung precariously by one chain and two of the four front windows were boarded up. It looked more out of place than a priest at a Cannibal Corpse gig. Still, it looked a hell of a lot more like home than anything else he'd seen since he got here. As tempted as he had been to scour the market for some decent grub he decided a stiff drink would go down a whole lot better.
Dewe noticed everyone staring at him as he pushed his huge frame through the doorway. Also, the gasps as he stood up to full height. It wasn't an uncommon reaction. At full stretch he was easily seven feet tall. The visible areas of his body were covered with a thick, scaly, green hide. His head had a long snout lined with razor sharp teeth and rather unremarkable human eyes. Dewe stepped up to the bar and pulled out a stool and instantly pushed it back in. It was obviously far too small so he opted to stand.
"Scotch, no ice." He called to the bar tender, Dewe's voice was rough but not unpleasant.
"Fucking lizard, how can they let freaks like that just walk the city." A voice came from the other end of the bar. It was little more than a whisper but more than loud enough for Dewe's hearing. One little burst from his powerful legs brought the odd looking humanoids great mass slamming down next to the man. Dewe moved his hand with incredible speed, grabbing the offenders whole head.
"Call me a lizard again and I will crush your tiny skull to pulp." Dewe said in a surprisingly calm tone before he let the now quivering man go. Before He could say or do another thing the bar doors were battered off of the hinges. A headless corpse lay in the doorway, blood spilling in to the center of the room. It wasn't long before chaos ensued. Every one of the places patrons screaming and running for the back door.
Without giving them another thought, Dewe stepped over the cadaver and in to the sunlight. In the process of shredding up the market place and anyone who got in the way were two giant gargoyles. They must have been a good twelve feet tall at least. Huge stone wings extended from there back although they seemed to move like skin and bone. The gargoyles were also armed with a thick tail which had a club like end.
"My god you're ugly." Dewe said sprinting to grab the left arm of the nearest gargoyle as it came within a foot of crushing a woman. With tremendous effort the powerful mutant wrenched the monsters arm back. As it turned to face him Dewe looked the beast in the eyes, they were dark and cold, almost lifeless. Yet Dewe was sure they were very alive as the gargoyles right fist slammed in to his chest hammering him in to the wall of the bar he had just come from. In pain but far from defeated, Dewe rose to his feet.
With surprising speed he powered forward shoulder barging the heavy creature square in the middle of it's body. It crashed through several of the now deserted stalls before coming to a halt on the ground. Without a second wasted it was back up. This time however it used it's massive wings to send it flying high above Dewe. The gargoyles companion had also turned his attention to the fight.
"Oh, shit." Dewe croaked, narrowly avoiding the second gargoyles deadly tail as it came swinging for his head. "This could be bad."
OOC: Your standard character entry topic I guess. Feel free to help whip some ass. I would prefer however if the characters used aren't too powerful. Dewe is an experimental being. A combination of Crocodile and Human, a sort of attempt at making the 00ber slave. Besides his (un)natural size and strength he's pretty much powerless for now. I've read some stuff with Prime is it? Primus? and Yoshimitsu highly developed characters like them would be far too powerful for what I wish to do. So if you have someone you think could fit, have them make an appearance.
Also sorry if it feels rushed. I typed the whole RP and was ready to post it when I did something and wiped it all. So yeah, basically I sped through it attempting to remember what I had written as best as possible.
