I don't like double posting, but....
A) No one has posted here in what, over a week?
B) I have somn to say and I've no clue where else to say it XD
I finally beat Mystery Dungeon, and now I'm replaying it. First time I played I was a Psyduck (Me? Relaxed? Huh.... Who'd a thunk it?) and I was paired off with Bulbasaur. Well, I'm starting over, and now I'M Bulbasaur. I have to say I personally think that's pretty sweet as it's not only my favorite starter, but my all time favorite pokemon too. I'm teamed up with Squirtle, and although it'll probably be easier this time through, I'm looking forward to it and any challenges that might come along with it.

Eh, as far as mystery dungeon goes, I was playing with mudkip (not sure how that happened though) paired with a pikachu. Didn't bother replaying the game yet tough.
And as far as starters go, I really liked charmander, totodile, and cyndaquil. I also sorta liked torchic (blaziken was cool, alright?).

I read somn about the starters. This one guy said that Psyduck sucked and anybody that used him over Mudkip was just plain stupid!
The thing is that while Psyduck doesn't have the best moves, his abilities made it EASY. Cloud 9 prevented weather effects and I don't know how many pokemon would half gone and used selfdestruct if it wasn't for his Damp ability!

Well, both of those pokes are good and bad in their own ways. Golduck-good s.atk. Fairly useful abilities (f'ing SS). But also, all other stats are fairly mediocre, and it has a limited movepool. Swampert-fairly nice stats, makes a decent bulky sweeper, immune to electric, but also HUGE grass weakness (grass knot anyone?) and is slow. So it really depends on what you like/want

Yeah, but in a game like that Psyduck keeps pwned.
And Hellfire is a good game, but it's the expansion for Diablo. Diablo is a very old game, over ten years old.

Indeed, you should. Tis fun. Esp. on open Battle.Net when some guy what hacked crap comes along and blows you away and you don't even know what killed you cause s/he's invisible!

Diablo I is very old. I in fact met Elliot online before we joined Pokeschool.
I've played Diablo II religiously, and I'm looking forward to III. I play legit, no hacks or anything. Most fun you'll ever have, especially if you find decent people and a decent community to play with. =]
Diablo I is the most brilliant, retro game you'll play. Ever. Get it.

Indeed, although I personally prefer the game Blood to Diablo, or D2.
I play legit too, but to be honest I do have the stuff that makes it so I can play WITHOUT being legit. Why? Because I got it from a person's computer last year at BOCES.
Why? Because this one person wanted to hack crap and fight me, so I choose to beat him at his own game. This resulted in a classroom war of sorts, between Jeff, Zane, Sally(sorta) (Sally is a nickname. Sally is actually male, his name is Mike) Then the DIID (Diablo II Deities) which was myself, my friend Mike, and then ANOTHER Mike. We pwned them, and I was the worst one on our team! It got bad though, our damage was poorly constructed so it often did negative damage. Our chars could be invisible and we could teleport, plus we had EVERY aura. It was hard. At times we were near invulnerable. But...... We found ways to kill each other anyway.
My main tactic was to teleport up behind people and hit them with either inferno, or fireball. These did MASSIVE damage, even with all the resistances that they had. Teleporting was necessary because my primary opponent was an assassin, which could run fast enough to hunt us down (nearly beyond player control), and also bone prison us. So, mine was the escape artist, by far not the deadliest, but I was the biggest harasser on the team, but I was also sort of the leader (I can see my friend Mike reading this and saying many a thing in response XD)

Never played Blood. But you seem to put it on the same level as Diablo. What's so good about it?

Blood isn't in the same genre, it's an FPS. I just prefer to play it as opposed to Diablo.
Blood came out about 96'
In it you play as the anti-hero Caleb. You come back to life after being killed by the dark god Tchernebog a.k.a. "The one that binds" whom you used to serve.
(I'll edit and add more later.)

Then... I have no idea how it compares to Diablo.
For FPS, you are better off with good old Counterstrike or the super-awesome TF2.

I just prefer to play it as opposed to Diablo. I only said I prefer it. Not that they were all that comparable. And no. Blood beats them, Counterstrike doesn't give you the ability to burn your enemies with flare guns and watch them spurt blood when their bodies collapse from the flames does it? No, I didn't think so. =)

But does it give you nine character classes to mess around with, each time giving you a whole new experience?
Yeah, didn't think so.
Also, the last time I heard, Counterstrike was quite a lot more popular than Blood... for a reason. I mean, Blood I've never even heard about. And I can assure you I am much of a gamer.

Course. But Counterstrike also had better multiplayer. Better graphics too. Blood was done by a company no one had really heard of.
But it was still pretty awesome. A group of people even made a comic off of it (this was to honor it, cause they just thought it was that awesome)

But it was still pretty awesome. A group of people even made a comic off of it (this was to honor it, cause they just thought it was that awesome) People make comics of all kinds, for everything. So goes for fanart and fanfics. Also, Rule 34 all over. For good old ripping-out-someone's-spine-games, I prefer the old Mortal Kombat's. Compared to those, is it bloodier?

If you have a 360 w/ online connection, you should try getting the Ultimate MK3 demo. It's long enough so that you can remember it's awesomeness.

Anyone here ever played Tachyon: The Fringe?

Sadly, no, I haven't.
Anyone here played Hellgate: London? For a game that's only worth 5-10 bucks, it's AMAZIGLY good. Yeah, there are a few bugs here and there (most of which are fixed when you d/l and install the patch), but it's fun as hell. Sadly, they are shutting down all the multiplayer (online) servers, although I wasn't planning to play it anyway, since that required to pay. But as far as single player goes, that game is damn fun. It's such a shame the game never got big. It's all because of WoW. The team that made Hellgate: London are the ones that broke off from Blizzard, thus stopped helping create the next (at the time) expansion or w/e.

Yeah, they created Diablo/2. I remember hearing this big buzz about it, but then it just kinda died down.
But, I don't have it and probably never will. So I'll just sit here and play Tachyon. For now.

Anybody ever play Insanaquarium? Best casual game since Tetris. Clicker and I have been thoroughly addicted since mid-December.
(And Kev, you can get a sea serpent named Stanley! Albeit at the end of the game, but still...)
