ok i have a prob with my comp...
I'm playing ff11 online, been playing for almost a month smoothly, no probs
until yesterday, randomly while i was playing, it stopped a blue screen with lots white letters popped up, then bam, restart......
this happened over and over again....
i sent error reports and tried some troubleshooting...
apparently its a THREAD_STUCK_IN_THE_DEVICE_DRIVER error
i tired what it said to update the newest drivers for my video card, did that, nothing....same blue screen of death
i tired manually, going into control panel, display, setting my hardware acceletation to none, and disableing writ combining
well, i cant play the game like that, lol i need direct3d ON. So i put it half way, still doesnt work.
How can i solve this?
i use an unauthorized game controller, but i dont think its the prob, as even when its not plugged in i still die by blue screen.
plus i just got this card, an MX 4000 nividia or something

Well, first of all, check for viruses. Also, reset the computer if you haven't yet (no, it's not stupid, a lot of people never turn off theirs). What version of Windows do you have? Have you tried rolling back to the previous driver? Can you get the event log so we can search for the error? Tip: Try googling your error. There's usually some other guy with your same problem. A quick google search I just made gave me this page, with some other people having your same problem, and that damn BSOD. forums.overclockersclub.com/index.php?showtopic=69958If everything fails, try contacting nVIDIA directly, email them your problem and they might be able to do something about it. Good luck!
