Karcharos silently lurked forward in the murky waters. All was dark again, making him nigh impossible to detect unless someone was in the water with him "And that wouldn't be wise at all," he thought while running his tongue over his teeth. Sure someone could possibly detect his life force, but he wouldn't feel like a normal person or even a person at all. The only thing that might bring suspicion on him would be if someone had felt him AND noticed the feeling following them. Even so, if he had any warning, he'd be able to throw them off his tracks with one of the Aces in his sleeve.
Karcharos rose up in the water so that he could maintain visual contact with his target and yet still remain submerged. "Soon," he thought, "Soon I will bring justice to this world."

"Oh my God..." Yoshimitsu breathed. "Dejurrin... what has he done to you?"
The island had just come into sight, and it was completely unrecognisable. Originally, the island had been host of several different ecosystems, the island divided into six different sections - a lake, a desert, a forest, a mountain, an ice field and plains. Each area had a test of some kind, with a reward at the end for whoever conquered its trials. Yoshimitsu had gotten Golem from his trip into the mountain, but later Golem had been, literally, melted during combat. The island had been the same when Yoshimitsu and Vincent had taken their second journey there, and they had made their way straight to a third dragon's lair, where Vincent had become a dragon knight.
This time, somehow, Vincent had made the island warp into a different shape. It looked twisted, evil, abnormal. The island was shaped like a spiral shell, massive and completely black with cracks running along it, chunks of the shell missing completely. Along its shape were spikes, surprisingly spaced so that the gaps between each spike decreased as they went further up the island. Creatures were hanging from some of the spikes, massive black things that concealed their bodies with their bat wings, apparently oblivious to the visitors. Yoshimitsu didn't doubt that they wouldn't stay peaceful for long. Near the top of the island, Yoshimitsu could see an entrance, another cracked hole in the shell-like structure, with a room inside. He tapped on Bahamut's snout and pointed at the hole, Bahamut immediately altering his course to that he would reach this entrance. Yoshimitsu looked at the island again.
"Vincent, what the hell managed to change you like this..." He muttered to himself. Bahamut stopped right next to the hole and Yoshimitsu hopped from the dragon's snout into the structure, gesturing at Bahamut and causing him to fade out of existence again. However, as soon as his feet touched the floor, he heard an ear-splitting cry and jumped from the hole, on to the side of the structure and looked around for the source of the sound, though he had a pretty good guess as to what had released such an hideous scream.
The creatures had moved. Sensing the intruders, they had all released their grips on the spikes and flew to the entrance. They all looked identical, grey and black all over, their leathery bat-like wings easily their biggest limbs. They were roughly humanoid, bulky shapes covered in grey scales, their hands more like claws, long sharp nails the same size as daggers with, what Yoshimitsu assumed were, retractable blades on their forearms. They all had long, whip like tails, tipped with a blade-like spike. Their heads, like a fusion of reptiles and humans, slits for nostils and pupils, sharp fangs and forked, darting tongues. Yoshimitsu immediately drew his retractable Guan Dao, the handle extending immediately, and held a defensive stance.
He could tell, already, that these things were no pushovers. "I knew he wouldn't make this easy," Yoshimitsu said, as the first creature struck.

Aurora followed on after Six and Yoshimitsu, he had indeed known Vincent once upon a time they had met on several occasions and had battled together side by side once or twice. The ice adepts eyes widened with the sight of the island it looked cruel and inhumane a dreadful combination. Ice flowed softly below his feet as he walked across the air preventing his fall as he now urged a power from within to propel him forward to keep up with his two friends.
Auro landed beside Yoshimitsu seconds later his eyes darting around watching the gargoyles swoop towards them, he drew his katana Odinthrana, or Odin for short from seemingly nothing and help it in front of him.
“Just like old times eh?” Aurora commented his eyes blazing blue with every word.
OOC – How tough are these things? And I’m gonna leave Cooper out of this one, due to his ‘power level’ being very low and due to I can’t find the inspiration or the ideas to RP with two chars in one topic. Yes I’m lazy I know but that’s the way it is.
Hope it’s okay calling them gargoyles too.

OOC- Not undefeatable, but definitely a damn challenge, even for stronger characters. Think, final boss of a RPG when you're underlevelled.

Karcharos couldn't fly, so when the group took off, he swam to the shore. He swung his bag off of his back and hit a red button on the side of the bag. There was an audible POOF! when he pressed it and several seconds later when he opened it steam rose out of the bag. Karcharos reached in and grabbed his clothes.
After he had redressed, he walked to the edge of the water and raised his arms at it. As he did so, two pillars of water rose up at his command. He twirled his arms about and the water spun about as well, intertwining to become one large pillar, and when he motioned to crush the water into a ball, it did so. He leaped up on the orb but didn't sink in; he was standing on the water ball. Karcharos crouched down and seemed to uppercut the air and as he did so, a pillar rocketed out of the orb propelling him forward at a high velocity. He used the force of the push to make it near enough to the group to be within earshot, but did his best to remain hidden. He exerted particular control on his pheromones as he didn't want them feeling his presence until he deemed it to be the time to announce he was there. If he was fortunate, all of the creatures would be distracted by the other invaders. If he wasn't lucky tonight though, he could always form a temporary allegiance with his target.

Six held off withdrawing his weapon for now, he wanted to see what the creatures were made of first. A streak of purple and black flames burst from his outstretched palm as one of the abominations flew in close. The attack struck the beasts wing and sent it in to a spiral. Six smirked as he watched the foul creature plummet downward.
The smile was soon wiped from his face when the creature sprung up from behind him beating it's powerful wings. With a lightening fast motion the beast thrust it's thick tail forward and coiled it round Six's throat. With one stroke of it's wings it pulled the fire user from his black fire disk and allowed the mans own body weight to strangle him.
Six grabbed wildly at the creatures tail around his neck but it was held fast. He could feel himself slipping in to unconsciousness as his brain became starved of oxygen. Six continued to struggle, but he knew he was becoming weaker. As his hand brushed the smooth side of the blade at the end of the creatures tail he had an idea. Grabbing the end of the tail directly below the blade he forced it in on itself and began to saw in to the tail.
Screeching, the creature let go, half of it's tail barely held on by a thread of scaly flesh. Six was now falling at a considerable rate toward the ground. The only thing he could think of was to propel flames from his feet which literally blew his boots off. The force was enough to send him up-wards and gave him time to from a second black fire disk beneath him.
No sooner had he touched down on the area where Yoshi and Aurora were standing when the gargoyle-like monster came swooping back round. This time however it was severely pissed off and in pain. The creature dropped down on to it's feet and at the same time large blades extended from both of it's forearms. Six pulled back his arm and threw another ball of black flames at the beast, it was faster than he had anticipated however and quickly brought one of it's wings up to block the attack. The flames smashed in to the wing and left little besides a tiny scorch mark. The gargoyle pulled it's wing away and thrust forward with the blade on it's other forearm. Six shifted backwards, faster than he had ever had to move, narrowly avoiding the attack.
Reaching over his shoulder he grabbed hold of the handle of his Blitz Blade, the sword that Yoshimitsu had given him so long ago. Six prayed that it would serve him well tonight, otherwise he was in big trouble.

Prime couldn't see any reason to fight, he just wanted to have some type of relation to other people like his. As such, he had formed a mithril board under his feet to ride on, and dodged and weaved between and around the flying creatures, doing his damnest not to be captured by the foul things. A long, thick staff formed in his hands, to fend off the more aggressive specimens, and he dived sharply into the midst of his unfortunate companions, he highly doubted he'd be getting out of there in one piece on his own. "Hey, I'm Raki, call me Prime though." He said, not taking note of the impact his words had had on the others. "Anyone know an easy way to, um, run away from these things? Idea's?"

Yoshimitsu hopped up, the first creature's lunge missing him, and landed on the gargoyle's arm. He spun and brought his foot smashing into the creature's head, throwing it to the side, hopping back off of it and landing on the structure again. He laughed at Auro's comment. "Exactly like old times, I think," he said, kicking from the ledge and pursuing the creature he had just attacked. He twirled his Guan Dao, and brought the blade smashing down at the monster, the blade meeting the creature's crossed forearms, stopping dead. Apparently, their scales were tougher than they looked. Yoshimitsu made a mental note of this, then stabbed at the creature. It grabbed the shaft of the Guan Dao before the blade could touch it and swung the weapon around, taking Yoshimitsu with it, before letting go and launching Yoshimitsu high into the air. Yoshimitsu retracted the Guan Dao, drawing his sword instead, and twisted in the air, trying to regain some level of control.
The creature pursued him into the sky, its blades on its forearms extending as it rose. Yoshimitsu spun in the air, still upside down, bringing his sword swinging round at the gargoyle-esque beast, the blade clashing with one of the creature's forearm blades with the sound of clashing steel. Yoshimitsu grabbed the creature's blade, gripping it so that it did not cut him, and used it to right himself, sitting on the monster's shoulders. He brought the hilt of his sword smashing down into the creature's skull. The creature let out a shrill cry, which Yoshimitsu took as his cue to move, the teenager kicking from the creature's shoulders and returning to the side of the structure that used to be Dejurrin Island. The creature, apparently recovered from being hit by a sword hilt, was following him. Yoshimitsu made a mental note to stay on the structure, where he could at least move well enough. Without waiting for an attack, Yoshimitsu threw his sword high into the air and clapped his hands together, releasing an explosion of fire from them that pushed the monster back. He caught his sword and jumped back, putting a bit more distance between him and it.
"So, what are these things? It's times like these I need some kind of ghostly hallucination telling me these things," Yoshimitsu said to himself, grinning. He slid his sword back into its sheath on his belt and pointed at single finger at the creature, firing a bullet of electricity at it. Upon collision, it exploded brightly, knocking the creature back again. Yoshimitsu smirked, and fired another three electrical bullets at the creature. Making a third mental note to thank Vincent when he finally found his friend, he re-drew his sword and hopped back, now waiting for the creature to attack him. He wasn't disappointed, and smashed his sword sideways, breaking through the creature's attack, using his free hand to release an orb of fire that exploded in the creature's face, throwing it back once more. The flames caught Yoshimitsu's t-shirt, setting it on fire. Yoshimitsu swore and summoned some water to put the fire out, but after he did so, a metallic-feeling fist sunk into his stomach while a second hand grabbed him and threw him to the side. Yoshimitsu skidded across the slanted surface, then hopped to his feet, accidently slipping down the surprisingly smooth floor.
"God dammit, this surface is a bitch to fight on," Yoshimitsu muttered, kicking from the structure high up, meeting the creature in the air. He shifted his sword slightly, and brought the blade slashing right up, cutting through one of the topmost layers of scales. Yoshimitsu saw this - the creature was definitely designed to defend the island. The teenager spun again and brought his sword smashing round, into the forearm blade of a creature, then twisted and drop-kicked it right in the face before dropping back to the structure and looking up at it.
"This is a lot tougher than I thought it'd be..." He muttered to himself. What he didn't see, however, was a faint glow on his shoulder, and something melting into existence. Yoshimitsu was completely oblivious to this... thing, as it crept along his shoulder, up his neck and into his hair, where it sunk into his head. He shook his head, and readied himself for the next round.

As soon as the creatures began their attack, Nick backed off a bit, dodging his bike through the hoards, but not engaging, so that he could take a few notes. He primarily watched the kid who road the dragon, and after a few moments, the alchemist decided he was done gathering data.
Nick pressed a button on his bike, and it fell from the air. He quickly sprung off while the vehicle plummeted downwards, though moments before it hit the water, it automatically righted itself and hovered lightly over the water. The scientist landed on the surface and almost slipped ungracefully.
"That's annoying."
As soon as he got his balance, Nick squatted and held both his hands to the ground. A silvery substance seeped from his fingertips and spread over the nearby surface. The nanites merely cut a sword shape, which didn't take too long. Nick picked up his weapon, though it appeared as swirling silver. The nanites were still at work, examining the substance's atomic structure and attempting to convert it into steel. A minute or so passed, and chaos continued to ensue around the man. He payed no attention to it all, waiting patiently for the sword to form.
Finally, he had a weapon, and just in time because one of the creatures had noticed him. It flew at him at high speeds and attacked with one of it's bladed arms. Nick quickly held up the sword to block the attack.
"Should've made a shield too."

“We fight, we don’t run,” Aurora commented to Raki who wanted to run he didn’t have time to figure out why people were calling him Prime ash his eyes locked with one of the flying beasts. Auro readied himself as it flew straight towards before whipping out his hand a ball of ice flowing from it and propelling itself forward with the speed of a bullet. It smashed into the beasts face, the ice adapting itself and clutching to it’s head the gargoyle scraped at it uselessly before it started to plummet to the ground too engrossed about it couldn’t see to remember to use it’s wings.
Aurora smiled as he jumped over the edge after it, his katana swinging wildly with him as he shot towards his prey. He spun midair so his feet were below him before landing with force on the defenders back only to be smashed off by a wing and into the cliff face, Auro groaned slightly at impact before using the wall to launch himself back into the air to face the demon.
Aurora spun his sword in his hand as he engaged the creature again, ice forming below his feet now to keep him in the air. The gargoyle had scraped half of its impairment off and had one eye free to see, making things a lot more difficult for Aurora than they should be. Auro grinned as they met blade for blade, each showing there strength as they pushed into each other trying to gain the upper hand before Auro kicked out, into his enemies stomach sending it reeling backwards. Aurora used his chance he swung his sword overhead bringing it down on the limb on the wing cutting it near-cleanly off. It didn’t seem to stop the gargoyle for long though, as it came back just as ferocious as before, its blades swinging into action with lightning speed, Aurora only just blocking each with his own blade. Aurora ducked under a swing, and span and swung out with his own sword slicing into one of the humanoids legs making it buckle, Aurora took this chance to, he threw his sword into the air like Yoshi had done moments before and thrust his hands out as a beam of blue ice shot from his palms barrelling the gargoyle in the chest. The powerful beam made is slip from Aurora’s ice beneath their feet and with only one wing it plummeted to the ground, smashing into the sea below.
The ice adept smirked as ice began to form as stars back up to platform, to join the rest of the battle.

Prime blocked a monsters two handed lunge, sliding back a few feet before he managed to plant himself. He had no illusions about refusing to use his powers at this point. He twisted the staff, smacking the monster in the side of the head and offbalance, then spun backwards, hooking his staff around its legs and tripping it over onto its back. It rolled away as he smack his staff into the stone, shattering it. Prime's staff split in half and became two longswords as the monster lunged at him again. He stopped its arm blades on his right hand blade, and used his free for a cross slash at it waist. The monster jumped back to get out of the way, and Prime took his chance. In moments Prime was a whirling, dancing blade of steel, moving around his target like a gust of wind he slashed at it from every direction, ignoring the wounds he took himself. Despite his efforts however, he didn't seem to be able to inflict any damage through its thick scales. He took a step back, steadying his breath.
"Why is my life always so filled with conflict?" He lamented, the burst forwards again, his whirling storm of steel slowly pushing the monster back, but this time Prime he something a little more specific in mind. He pushed the beast towards the cliff-face where his father had fallen earlier, aiming to trip it up at the edge. The monster took its chance, backing away, and it tripped over the side of the cliff. Prime following it quickly, he could see it snapping its wings open, but he grinned viciously and yelled. "NO CHANCE IN HELL!" His two swords became a long, thick, giant katana, the monster was forced to catch the top of the sword to defend itself, but its great weight forced them both towards the ground at speed. A massive blast of sound swept across the area as they landed hard, and rock dust rose around them. When it cleared, Prime was looking up at his father, the massive sword having impaled the beast and cracked the stone below it in long spidering lines.
He held out his hand, and the sword turned to a liquid, spreading out along his back, forming two giant angels wings, with an overall twelve foot wingspan, he flew back up to the top of the cliff to join the others, a pure while longsword in his hand. He twisted and landed to cover his father's back. "So what are we doing here then?" He asked.

Yoshimitsu twirled his sword in his hand, and ran at the incoming gargoyle, his grip on the sword surprisingly lax. The gargoyle spun in the air, bringing one bladed forearm swinging round, but Yoshimitsu ducked underneath the attack and spun himself, bringing his own blade slicing round. It scratched the creature's chest, causing the beast to flinch backwards, but quickly continue its assault, lunging at Yoshimitsu who jumped over the attack, landing on the arm. He brought his foot swinging round and smashed it into the gargoyle's head, but the gargoyle caught his foot, those dagger-like nails scratching his shin and ankle. Yoshimitsu felt himself be spun around like a puppet before launched powerfully away from the island. Yoshimitsu tried to twist in the air, but to no avail. The gargoyle pursued him, blades glinting in the moonlight, evidently moving to kill. Yoshimitsu fought against the forces refusing to let him move, and felt some unknown power surge within him. He spun in the air and flipped so he was upright once more. The gargoyle lunged at him once more, but with a sudden rush of energy, he smashed his sword to the side, throwing the incoming blade away from him, the blade snapping clean off of the gargoyle's forearm. He then drop-kicked the gargoyle again, throwing it back.
"Well that was... weird," he said as he continued his descent to the water. However, he only dropped a couple of meters at most before stopping, suspended in mid air. He twisted again, so he was apparently stood on nothing. He could still feel that power within him. Almost unconsciously, he raised a hand and conjured up a disc of shiny ice, reflective enough to show him what he looked like. Sure enough, his hair had sparked into golden yellow. A talent he though he had lost. "Great, I look like a frickin' saiyan. At least my hair wasn't black before," he said, dismissing the ice and looking for that gargoyle again. Glancing around, he saw Prime and Aurora finishing up their battles. He raised an eyebrow. Maybe those two had somehow gotten stronger than him, judging how long he'd been battling for compared. He shrugged, and fixed his attention on the recovering beast that had just started charging him again. The beast was furious, raging, probably so angry that it had actually been hurt properly instead of some of the slightly weaker moves Yoshimitsu had pulled. Almost mockingly, he sidestepped the creature, sending it soaring right past him. With a smirk, he raised and hand a loosed a single blast of fire, catching the beast's wing and causing it to drop through the sky slightly. The gargoyle spun to face Yoshimitsu again, spitting sparks once more. Yoshimitsu raised his sword, gripping it in both hands. He tore through the incoming fireballs, his eyes locked on the gargoyle at all times. He watched the gargoyle's movements, and immediately dropped through the air to avoid it's charge. From underneath, he loosed a bolt of electricity. The electricity flowed over the beast, finding an entry point in the cut Yoshimitsu had inflicted, and started to try the beast from the inside out. Yoshimitsu gave a tiny grin, which turned into a determined frown as he drew his Guan Dao again. He shot straight up at the smoking beast, and swung his weapon round powerfully, leaving a massive gash in its chest, sending scarlet blood spurting everywhere. Yoshimitsu backed away, then shot straight for the entrance of the island. Upon landing, his hair turned blue again.
"Meh, if I still like him after this trip, I've gotta thank him for his saiyan-wannabe technique," Yoshimitsu said, shrugging.

Karcharos crawled about the rocky precipice like a monkey would a tree. His best bet would be to find cover as he didn't want to waste any effort on the creatures and he especially didn't want to show his powers to his prey. Karcharos would use the darkness and confusion to his advantage. His powerful hands gripped the rocks and his arms would keep him stable as he crawled down the rocks over the roof of the cave. He continued crawling as easily as if he were on the ground, even after he was upside down. Like a spider, he crawled on the roof inside the cave in order to find somewhere where he could lie in wait for his prey.
OOC: Yoshi, you can have one of the things notice him if you want to, but he wants to avoid conflict.

The inside of the island matched the outside, solid reflective black. The sounds of the ocean, the wind, all of outside halted completely as soon as Yoshimitsu's feet touch the ground. To fill this silence, Yoshimitsu's footsteps echoed loudly, almost deafening. His eyes scanned the room quickly. No doors, no kind of exit at all aside from the one he just passed through. The surface was flawless all over. Vincent had certainly outdone himself this time. Yoshimitsu walked around the room, his fingertips feeling every part of the room they could. There had to be something he could use, some indication that he could proceed.
And there it was. A patch of wall that was warm to touch. Yoshimitsu pressed into the wall a little harder, and it almost melted to his touch, bending like a jelly as he applied force to it. He plunged his hand into the subtance and pulled at it. The section of the wall was easily removed. Yoshimitsu tossed the gooey system over his shoulder and examined the patch of wall he had just opened. There was a display, much like a television, but it seemed organic. Alive. On the display, there was an image of Yoshimitsu with a number of statistics around him. Yoshimitsu recognised them - pulse, blood pressure, mentality and so on. To the right, there was a second image of Yoshimitsu, but it was a few shades darker, its eyes glowing red. Yoshimitsu frowned at the image, then something struck him on the side of the head.
The teenager was sent staggering to the side, but he recovered his balance almost immediately and looked at his attacker. His jaw dropped - it was much like looking in a mirror. Another Yoshimitsu stood by the display. But something was wrong. This doppleganger was several shades darker, and the eyes... glowing a demonic crimson. The teenager understood instantly. That black formless blob had changed into this. He had touched it, it had recognised and imitated him. And now, he had to fight it. "Always fighting," Yoshimitsu commented. "There's more to power than brute strength, I thought you knew that. Vincent..."
The clone attacked again, releasing a beam of energy at Yoshimitsu, who threw up his hands and caught the attack, redirecting it and throwing it to the side. It exploded, taking out a chunk of the wall. However, the wall reformed, seeming to heal organically. Yoshimitsu took a moment for thought, an action he immediately regretted when he was thrown to the side by a powerful punch once more. He staggered to his feet, then ducked and sidestepped as he was attacked again. Yoshimitsu wrapped his hands in blue flames and uppercutted the clone, knocking it away from him. The teenager stood up straight, flames dispersed, and brushed a few strands of haur from his face.
"Vincent, making me fight myself?" Yoshimitsu asked. "Is this your idea of redemption? Or are you worried the only thing that can beat me is me?"
The doppleganger struck again, a powerful spinning kick. Yoshimitsu threw up his arms in defense, the kick hitting his forearms, the force of the attack sending shockwaves through the area. Quickly, Yoshimitsu acted and drop-kicked his clone, sending it across the room, crashing headlong into a wall. Yoshimitsu extending both hands and started firing fire, lightning, ice, light and as many elements as he could at his doppleganger. It blew out chunks of the stone, causing dust and debris to fill the air. Yoshimitsu waited for the dust to settle.
When it did, his jaw dropped. His clone was there, hovering slightly, holding each and every attack thrown its way. Its clothes were ripped, its top completely burnt away. The attacks coated his arms. One by one, each element changed, turning into raw energy and, without warning, flew right back at Yoshimitsu. The teenager threw up his arms, a cross shape over his torso as he defended himself. Each blast exploded on impact, sending pain shooting through his arms. Once the assault was finished, Yoshimitsu stood there, panting. His arms were covered in blood. Blue sparks played over his arms, knitting the wounds together before the blood loss rendered him helpless.
"So, how are you finding facing yourself?" A voice asked. The voice was not sarcastic or snide. It sounded genuinely curious. Yoshimitsu sent a wave of fire at his clone, frowning. "I know that voice..." Yoshimitsu muttered. As if on cue, a familiar figure faded into sight, his aqua hair seeming to radiate light in the dark surroundings. "I seem to notice you didn't answer the question," Ain commented as Yoshimitsu drop-kicked his clone again. Yoshimitsu jumped to his feet and glanced at Ain. "Oh yeah, it's just great. Got any advice?" Yoshimitsu asked. His clone ran at him and unleashed a flurry of punches. Yoshimitsu ducked, dodges and weaved around the attacks until the clone launched an unexpected kick, which threw Yoshimitsu away. The teenager flipped to his feet and readied himself for the next round.
"Yoshimitsu, you are fighting a version of yourself. It has all your strengths and weaknesses, knows all your tactics, all your reactions," Ain said as Yoshimitsu dodged again, and countered with a powerful uppercut. "You have to use that to defeat it." Yoshimitsu gritted his teeth. "Wouldn't be the first time."
He pulled out his sword, his clone mirroring his action. Things were getting serious. Fighting himself, one wrong move could mean the end. The clone struck first, sword making fluid movements as each strike flowed into the next. Yoshimitsu's sword moved equally fast, the clashing swords echoing loudly all around. The clone was difficult to fight - it was as fast as Yoshimitsu, but seemed so much stronger. Yoshimitsu hopped backwards, a slash missing him narrowly, then shot forwards with his own rush of attacks, his attacks suddenly sharper and rougher, not as fluid as they were yet still somehow leaving no means of attacking him. The clone tried to defend as Yoshimitsu had, but what Yoshimitsu was doing now was using a different style, which he had learned himself from his training against Vincent. The clone defended. Barely.
"Here we go, this is much more like it," Yoshimitsu said, thrusting and parrying, the swords clashing or meeting thin air. The clone threw a ball of energy at Yoshimitsu, but Yoshimitsu caught it, turned it into water and fired a powerful jet of liquid back at his clone. The clone was forced back, and Yoshimitsu charged in again, slicing with his attack but mis-timing it. Rather than outright destroy his clone, he had left a shallow cut on its chest. The clone roared, its hair sparking and flashing into gold, an aura visible around it. Yoshimitsu hopped back again, his own hair fading and changing colour, into that same gold. Their power was sending dust scattering and pushed it away from them. Electricity sparked in the air around the pair of them. Yoshimitsu grinned slightly. This was where things would get interesting. He dropped his sword, and his hands glowed slightly brighter than they should have normally.
The clone shot in, its sword weaving through the air, slashing at Yoshimitsu. Yoshimitsu easily sidestepped the attacks, dodging, ducking, flowing around the air as the attacks all missed by no more than an inch. The clone, possibly out of desperation, swung its sword wildly at waist-level. Yoshimitsu bent over backwards, but as the sword was passing over him, he moved faster than the eye could follow and grabbed the sword. The metal did not cut his skin. Instead, Yoshimitsu gripped the sword tighter and snapped the metal, rendering the sword useless. Then, Yoshimitsu placed his hands on the ground above his head and threw his feet up, flipping backwards and kicking his clone in the chin, throwing it up. Yoshimitsu pursued, unloading punch after punch into the clones abdomen as it tried to recover. Yoshimitsu felt the clone's hand grip his fist, stopping the punch. Then the other hand did the same. They were locked in a stalemate, equally strong as they tried to push their foe back.
Yoshimitsu suddenly relaxed slightly and allowed himself to be pushed back, his clone getting ever so slightly closer. As soon as the clone was within range, Yoshimitsu headbutted it, causing its grip to relax. Yoshimitsu tore himself away and shot back, placing his wrists together and transferring some of his power into a physical manifestation in his palms, a glowing orb forming there. He focused harder for a minute, then fired a powerful beam at his clone, throwing it back and into the wall behind. The clone pulled its knees up and held its arms in a cross, trying to defend against the attack. Seeing as their power levels were matched, defending wasn't too much of a problem. Yoshimitsu gritted his teeth and shot at his opponent, keeping the beam going as he got closer. As soon as he was close enough, he wrapped that manifestation of his power around his hands and thrust his right hand into the doppleganger's chest, using his left to hold it in place. The clone screamed out in pain as Yoshimitsu wriggled his fingers. There were no organs, no blood, no bone. It felt like it was made of that same good as before, which it was. Yoshimitsu started grinding his teeth and he conjured up electricity, sending it shooting through the clone's body. It started smoking, chunks of it melting away, dripping on the floor. Yoshimitsu withdrew his hand, shaking it to get rid of the excess goo and watched as his clone was reduced to a disgusting puddle on the floor.
"Ew," he said, his hair fading back into blue. "So, what now?" "Good question. I know as much as you do," Ain said. "I would guess, however, that you have been granted permission to pass." Yoshimitsu saw a door appear near the moniter. "Really? Whatever gave you that idea?" He smirked and pushed open the door, stepping through.
The next room was perculiar enough. It was blue. It was that same organic blue that the lab Yoshimitsu was created in was made out of. Tubes lined the room, the red fluid flowing through them. In each of the corners of this room, there was a glowing orb, fluttering slightly, broadcasting a faint pink glow. Yoshimitsu approached the closest of the four and stared at it for a moment. It wasn't doing anything. He touched it, and immediately a voice echoed around the room.
"A warrior was created and escaped, in time becoming a powerful enitity. It gained powers and became a threat."
"What?" Yoshimitsu asked. It made little sense to him. Yoshimitsu stepped over to the next one, and placed his hand in that.
"The scientists worked hard on the creation of this one. It was given power to surprass all of the armies."
Yoshimitsu frowned. Still no sense. He walked to the next, and placed his hand in that one.
"The Lord was worried. With all the things already threatening his world, this was another. In the end, this threat was not the one to end the Lord's life."
Lord. Yoshimitsu raised an eyebrow. Lord worrying for his world. It sounded so familiar. He thrust his hand in the final orb.
"He wanted an army, and a select few guards so he could conquer and add to his world. His greed could not be controlled and he needed to have everything. His scientists started work immediately."
Yoshimitsu walked back into the centre of the room and looked around. "What is this, the room where no sense is made?" Yoshimitsu asked. "It looks like your friend is challenging your intellect. You must solve your way into the next room," Ain said.
