I don't mean "creative terms" in the sense of "original, distinctive terms", I mean "creative terms" as in "not destructive terms". All of those power level explanations were just "This level can destroy a large army!" "This level can destroy a planet!" "This level can destroy a solar system!" "DESTROY DESTROY DESTROY", ignoring the fact that many people might not even find any practical value in ranking their characters on such a system.

This person can destroy dance with an entire army at the same time!

Actually, I considered reviving the power level topic to prevent issues with people throwing down with heavies (see: Lee v. Silumas, Kilik v Kuro) unless they want to develop their characters based around such incidents.
The problem is that a lot of people look at it as a guideline of who-trumps-who, and really, that doesn't matter so much. Not using summons, Miko's easily a power tier or two below Rick in combat, but they're holding fairly even.
Of course, that's where the Tactics field came in, but it all just became somewhat complicated. I gave up on the idea, since with a small board, the pros are outweighed heavily by the cons.
(For those interested, instead of rating a character based on their raw destructive might, it rated them on Power, Defense, Tactics, and Versatility. Basically, Power was the ammount of damage they could inflict, Defense was the ammount of damage they could avoid/take without collapsing, Tactics was their leadership ability and cunning, and Versatility was their utility abilities. As an example, Helen would be fairly weak (Mid-level) in the first three, but super high in the last, while Terrian would be low in the first two, high in the third, and decently high in the fourth.)

Ah, sort of like power charts for the characters. I could totally see that being done actually. You want me to do one for Prime, as a sort of example or something? I could totally see turning it into a card graphic.

The problem with Power Level topics is that characters are, on the whole, more versatile than that. Yoshi, for example, can appear in topics with weaker characters and be on the same level, or be able to go toe to toe with Summon Miko if he has to. Don't make me prove it >=O

"Decently high"? Versatility is Terrian's game. He's a utility character through and through.

"Decently high"? Versatility is Terrian's game. He's a utility character through and through. I'd like to see someone live through four million or so Terrian Clones dropped on them.

Well, yeah, he'll be more combat-worthy later on, when he can create massive quantities of duplicates at once, as you say. Also when he can duplicate items. So he can go from one guy with a gun into a thousand guys with guns. That's a good fighting character right there. But that's far in the future.

No, you need a drawing of Terrian with little dot eyes done in MSPaint to do that. Now, on the other hand, if you bring that to light, it'd be proper.

So hey, totally necroing a REALLY fuckING OLD THREAD.
You know why?
Julia got NEGATIVE FIVE. (-4 if I check the box for "a name i really really like, but like with Terrian, it's probably not what they meant, and -3 if I check the box for "is a secret agent" but that's also another bendy thing)
I win the internet.
PS. wC only got a 43. Weird. Charicatured self inserts don't score ridiculously high, apparently. (although he is categorized as straight up Mary Sue, so I guess it's high enough)

Pffff... Amateur. tzolkinRoulette is a -17.
Of course, I was tempted to click the boxes for "Powers: Seduction" and "Is the character someone you would like to fall in love with or have sex with?"
Of course, considering that she's a blatantly negligent jerk to her family as well as being a senior citizen, she's kinda in the zone.

Elisna as I am planning her so far got a 17. Not too shabby, bro. Super Turbo Retcon Hector, on the other hand, got a 37. Which still isn't as bad as not-retcon Hector, but still. I think it's some of the questions I answered which have a reasonable explanation, such as Hector being "abandoned" (left with another family to be raised) because of political turmoil at the time. I think he's still a little Mary Sue-ish, but not enough to be completely bad. A little polishing and it'll be all good.
As Pohatu pointed out, my Mary Sue is a dude. What does that say about me?

What the fuck!
I just ran it for Shouta, and I got, I swear to God because I could not make this up, 1.
That is such bullshit.
I need to make him so much more Gary Stu-ish. Time to add a backstory about how he was sexually abused as a child or something!!!

Rhys got an 8. Would have been a 7 if it weren't for that whole I-would-so-do-him thing. Oh well.
