A test to see if your character is a Mary-Sue! www.ponylandpress.com/ms-test.htmlZebedee: With my interpretation of his current state: 16 points. Could be higher. Sylvia Natalie Ulima: 17 points. Surprised she got higher up than Zebby did. Joseph: 9 points. Score one for the chainsmoking, angst-toting old guy with a shotgun! (Ironic part is that like 3+ of my points scored here came from things from other people's characters, like relationships and other characters finding them attractive, etc.) Well, take the test, and see how ya do!

Yeah, Zebby probably would hit around forty if I was to pick the right point in time for him. In fact... Pushing Zebby to the other end of the scale, answering every one that COULD apply, throughout his entire history, he rated a 79. So, averaging the two out seems about right. 47.5 or so?

Oh, Ender had higher, until I checked the box "Are these powers normal in his/her universe?"

Whoa. I don't think any of us could top that unless some poor sap ran Yoshimitsu or Full-on All-Era Hector Cruz through there. Seraphina might also go pretty high, for the poetry/anime bit.
It maxes out at 591, which I think is somewhere around the total of all characters ever used.

I wasn't execting anything lower from you, Prime. In other news, I really need to stop making female characters that I'd want to have sex with. >.>

"Does the character have a clone or identical twin?"
Okay, that's just mean. But the list of powers didn't include duplication, so ha ha, suck it, Mary-Sue litmus test.
Terrian got a 19. So, healthily non-Sue, although a tad close to what they called "Borderline-Sue" (21-35). Granted, I was being generous in some places, checking off boxes like "Does the character have a name you really, really like?" because I do really like the name "Terrian Brogue" even though it's not quite the kind of name they were clearly thinking of, and boxes like "Is the character someone you would want to be friends with?" even though that's really not a Mary-Sue symptom in the least.
I was very proud not to check off the box for "Do all the important characters end up liking/respecting/fearing him?" See: Natalie, Valon, Blaise.
although upon consideration blaise might have some respect for him it's hard to say right now hmm i guess that means lee better post in whisper

We all do that Joe. And bite me dickbrain. This is ironic in the fact that I didn't mean to be rude, but rereading it, it comes across as totally assholish. I was trying to tactfully make fun of Choobeh for his hentai lineup of 'jumped' characters, featuring ten pin tackling in his dreams... Instead I sound like an ass. I get the feeling this happened a lot. x.x Directed at Pohatu, Blaise, I think, considers Terrian to be something interesting that she can put in a jar and play with. For the first ten minutes, I've no doubt Terrian would enjoy this, for the following 3 days, there would be screaming. Lots of screaming. A the origional screaming while she dissected a duplicate. Or ten or twelve duplicates at once. And, on top of that, you'd be forced to maintain the duplicates, otherwise she'd have to dissect HIM to get her answers. So it'd basically be, participate in your own torture, or die.

And that is why I am never ever going to allow Prime near my characters ever.
Regarding the other point, this must be the first time in history that someone wrote "bite me dickbrain" and thought they were being tactful. Oh fascinating!

Well not tactful, but just like, ribbing him. Not meaning to be rude or anything. Like calling your friend a '****er' after they tell the chick you like that you like em. Your mad, but also kind of secretly appericiative.
Anyways, I need Terrian for that one thing remember! I don't have any mad scientist characters, so its all good. Worry about Lee! He's the one that could do it!

Dace got 7, and most of those were due to her name and being a little kid. If she had been NAMED Mary Sue, she would have been 4 points.
Zebedee got: 13 for ORP. Most of which due to his saintly disposition.
Of course, I'm only doing general and RP, and skipping the other sections.

Kuro: 24 I started racking up checkblocks in the powers section.
Rain: 10 The eye section is the only reason he got that high.
Karcharos: 11 Surprising to me, but yay.
Scar: 11 Meh.

I think basically anything under a thirty is doing pretty good when you get to the higher levels, y'know?
(BTW, good to see you around again, 'boom. Hope that life's going good for ya.)

I'm only around for the weekend. I got a 4 day pass to see the Ziggurat in southern Iraq. It's 4000 years old and has Abraham's house near it. I took a lot of pictures, obviously.

Good to hear that you're safe and sound. I hope that we can see the pictures sometime, since I've always wanted to see ziggurats. (Egyptian pyramids are for sheep.)

Lol, so what if one HAS a staircase and one IS a staircase? Still giant triangles made of stone man. Nature has a lot more beauty held within it, man has created very little of beauty at all. Less that it has, if you factor in the destruction our endeavors cause.

Yes, well, you would underplay humanity's creative capacity in favor of its destructive, eh, Prime? I would have been so intrigued if you had described these power levels in creative terms, but alas, no. i'm just tryin' to keep it rp-related over here

Lol. I could get really creative with those, assuming someone actually wanted me to create and maintain a power chart. If Lee or yourself want that Pohatu, I could probably do around 20 creative classifications. Those ones were stand in's, more like. I'd imagen real ones would be a bit more specific, and humorous. With large and small scale examples.
