Whoa I meant to post in this like a week ago curse you heavy timetable
Anyway Antonio is pretty much spot on. His hair is exactly how I imagined it, and I like the posing. It's also nice to see that I'm not the only person who hasn't figured out how his mask stays on his face.
Also I did not imagine Nopcsa to look anything like that.

I looked through all the drawings and all I can really suggest is to watch the necks. They get really thick and beefy sometimes.
Tomorrow I'll go back and critique one by one, but there's not a whole lot I can nitpick.

I already 66949]said my bit about this one. The only thing I can add at this point is mild annoyance with myself for keeping his legs so close together like that. It's a common shortcoming of my drawings to treat the legs as one single unit (even if the feet have separate values) and I think they should have been looser and farther apart here. Oh well. You don't know who this is? This is Lacianus "Lacy" Garrelcette! Yeah, I bet it seems really obvious now, doesn't it? I wanted to draw her in street attire such as she might have worn at Demitasse during her Burgled Boullogne appearance, and Lee ended up providing just about every detail of her outfit off the cuff. (Except those long sleeves, which I liked better than bare arms.) That feathery-looking ensign on her jacket is a complete fabrication on my part; pay it no heed. If you can't identify this one, then you are not reading the right RPs. I really like how he came out -- the shading, I think, is one of my better efforts in that department. I couldn't help but base his facial features on Simple J. Malarkey a little bit, which of course means by the transitive property that he is ultimately inspired by Senator Joseph McCarthy. There have been worse heritages. Now if only I could learn how to properly draw a hand in a pocket. What chick? Oh, her? Ami? Ami Hanzomon? Oh Ami Hanzomon is just some random chick who will surely never ever come to be significant in any way. You can go ahead and forget about 62507]her. Justice Bartholomew Staudt and Justice Mildred Hooper. Trivia: Hooper is now the second of my characters to wear glasses which never remotely formed part of my mental image of them before laying pencil to paper. (The first was old Gideon McCrowley.) I have come up with a term for such eyewear: "unexpectacles".

RHYS - You're right about the legs. The head is jutting out a little weird and the neck is oddly shaped. Also there's a wonky-looking fold in his shirt but maybe that is just me. I am jealous that you have nicer clothing textures than me. also what is it even with you and pianos
LACIANUS - The only issue I have here is that I can't tell if her eyes are open or shut. Otherwise, great job.
HANDCUFF DUDE - yeah i don't read the right rps fuck you. The hips are a bit too slender, I think. I really like the hair here, and again, textures
AMI - I don't have a lot to say here except do you know how uncomfortable and a bit painful it is to put your hand on your side like that?
JUSTICES - Nothing wrong I can really find here, again good job.

You can't tell that Lacy's eyes are open? Really? I can't even see them (or, well, it, the only visible eye) being closed. I'm trying and trying but it's no good. That eye is obviously open.
That cowboy guy's hips look shallower because of the poncho. If it were removed and you could see his backside, his figure would look fuller, I suspect. (Also, the poncho has the effect of making his profile very top-heavy, which no doubt contributes.
More to the point: read the right RPs, gahdam.

I think what it is is that you have one large bold line, which would make sense if her eyes were closed, then there's the line for the base of her eye which is very light and very small, you almost have to look for it to see if it's there.

There are two large bold lines, not one. This is exactly how I usually draw eyes, except special ones like Marshall's that cowboy guy's. I don't understand how it's throwing anyone off!
Look, compare Rhys' eyes. They're closed. Each eye is composed of one bold horizontal line for the eyelashes and one thin vertical line for the eyelid. (Plus some slight bagginess going on underneath.) Now look at Lacy's visible eye. One bold horizontal line for the eyelashes, one thin vertical line for the eyelid, and one bold vertical line for the actual eye! You know, the same as with Ami, Staudt and Hooper?
This is boggling my mind.

I think it was the slant of the line that you made below the top eyelid.
But now that you said that that is how you always draw eyes now I looked back at your drawings and all I saw were closed eyes and oh god can't unsee
okay, it actually depends on where you make the pupil. it only looks like closed eyes if it's at the far edge of the top eyelid.

I'm shocked, horrified, and slightly disgusted by the fact that there is ANYBODY who doesn't read Obscured Truth. Heck, I'm shaken by the fact that there are people who aren't up to date on that thing. It really is the best RP since Triannual or Burgled Boul(l?)ogne.
If you think I'm gonna wait for these images to load on dial up, well... Actually, I guess I will. Even tho' it'll take forever. Prolly not as long as my buddy Flynn, tho'.

Progress on next batch: 56%.
Which is really to say 9% + 8% + 7% + 6% + 6% + 4% + 5% + 5% + 4% + 2%, where the first 5% of each drawing is pencilling, and the other 5% is inking.
If I don't post the next batch by the time Hussie finishes Act Five, I am a failure.

You know 51827]this one. She's alive and decently well, and you'll certainly see her again. The necklace and backpack were inventions, purely to draw more attention to the force of wind acting on her, since I'm not very good at drawing billowing fabric (or fabric in any state, at all!). Also, there were going to be gashes on her lower arms -- which there should be, given the scene -- but they looked simultaneously grotesque and not very convincing, so they got nixed. You know 53357]this one. He's perfectly alive and well, and you'll see him again. You know, in the future. When he owns this town. Not much to say here, except I really need to stop drawing dress shoes as sheer jet black shapes. I can't help it! I hate drawing shoes. You know 62120]these two very well! They are both totally okay and sure to show up again soon. The outfits were largely suggested by Elliot, though I tweaked here and there, for instance replacing Illiana's jeans with shorts (I didn't want to draw another pair of jeans in this batch). Anyway, this image half-confirms Lee's 60572]prediction about an inevitable Yoshimitsu picture that would dial up the contrast between him and someone else -- just replace "Hector" and "height difference" with "Illiana" and "curvature". Yes, I'm sure Elliot will protest because all of you nutjobs want your women to be skinny bitches for some reason (except Kevin!!!!!!!!) but it was a necessary aesthetic decision, which is code for: boobs. (Actually I know no one will believe me but I liked drawing Yoshi more. I got this weird Rainbow Dash vibe and rolled with it.) You know 50020]this one perfectly well. In fact, you've already seen him. He's alive and more or less well for his age, and you'll hear from him again. You might even see him in this getup at some point. Like in Ishkabibble. At some point. You met 69120]this one, if only briefly. I'm afraid, however, that he hasn't been alive and well for upwards of two years now, and you will not see him again. I apologize for being too lazy to draw his legs and those of the table, but I really didn't see that these would add anything to the impression. What's there does the job, even though this isn't exactly my most interesting character design. You might actually know 69145]this one better than you think, considering that she made 50019]two 55680]cameos long before Muddy Season. Back then she was strictly a placeholder with no flesh and blood, but that has always been supposed to be the same waitress. (Flirting with Nico a little bit in that first scene! Oh man, I really hadn't put any thought into her yet.) Anyway, the drawing. Definitely one of my weakest, and this was the third draft, after already scrapping two earlier attempts. I cannot draw people from behind. And yet it had to be done, here. Had to be done. Oh well. It's good that the drawing's there. For completion. Not on any other grounds. You don't really know 69161]this one. He's long dead, and you will likely never see him again. I'm not much digging the idea of any kind of proper flashback -- I think I like Yoon's history better the hazier it is. Nonetheless: this man existed, he's dead now, and that's really all there is to say on the matter. I hope you know 59242]this one. If not then once again you are reading the wrong RPs. Right now he is alive, though I can't say how much longer that'll last; I'd like to say he'll survive the LBH saga, but only Biscuit can say. I know the hands look a bit dodgy -- it's because I had to edit out some tattoos that are supposed to run all the way down to the fingers on both arms (they made the hands much harder to read, and also kinda just looked like thin stripey gloves). Altogether though I quite like this bloke. One of the few drawings this batch that I definitely feel good about, full-stop. You met 62507]this one once. As with Ami Hanzomon, it was in a dream, but as with Ami Hanzomon, that certainly doesn't mean the man himself isn't real. It's just that what we saw was an imagined version of him, conjured up by Shouta's subconscious. Dude's real though. Accurate portrayal, too. Got the stutter and everything. He is alive and as well as someone in his profession can be said to be. You'll see him again, though when and how I have no idea. Not in the near future. You don't know these two. I barely know them, myself. In fact I know them so poorly that right up until the time of drawing I still wasn't totally sure which one was skinny and which one was pudgy. However in retrospect I am absolutely certain I made the right choice, for it has since become clear to me that the blond one works out to this video at least once per morning (and also probably sings along in the exact same tone of voice) and it is just not easy to keep on the pounds when you're putting your body through those kinds of paces. They are alive and well. God knows when you'll see them, though. Probably not for years. Years of our time, I mean. Christ, seriously, though -- Masha and Misha haven't even made their debut yet.

What is in Yoshimitsu's hand? I really can't tell! I'm guessing it's his phone? Am I being thick and blind?

Considering Sharp's in the exact same pose as Rhys, I feel compelled to say you're getting much much better at drawing legs.
I like it. Hell, I love it. You're on the green with Waylon, but as far as I'm concerned, Sharp's a hole-in-one. Nice to finally put a face on our Welsh warrior. Nice touch with the plaid, too (is that plaid? Or just a thermal shirt?)

It's actually supposed to be the vial from Odio's bedroom. (That's the letter, too.) You're not thick and blind -- it didn't register very well. My fault.
