Dead players may not post in the other Mafia: Day or Mafia: Night topics, but may post here.
The current death toll is:
Pikachu (Innocent) - assassinated the first night - turned into a human Slinky Lee (Innocent) - executed the first day - impaled by the Iron Maiden Prime (Innocent) - assassinated the second night - dismembered on a Rubik's cube Andurin (Innocent) - executed the second day - forced to run the gauntlet DL (Innocent) - assassinated the third night - perished in the Lego labyrinth Bulbs (Innocent) - executed the third day - self-detonation blew up the town hall RLRL (Mafia) - died the third day - committed seppuku
To Pikachu and all subsequent victims: You can't reveal your specific role here, but you can discuss the game and vent your rage against those sucky players who are still in.

Alas poor Pikachu! *holds up mangled, decapitated, yellow head* I must apologize for my lack of voting I was unsure if we were to vote straight away or if you were going to tell us when to begin. Also, I would like to add: I CUT YOU! to those players who did vote.

Oh, sorry. No, I meant for everything that needed to happen that night to happen at any point.

Pikachu, I think we know exactly who are mafia now. Judging by the way events have played out, the townspeople had best get their arses in gear, or they're dead meat.

Yeah, exactly.

I think that it's game over now. Prime was one of the few good guys left. Now, Mafia is starting to get an edge. I can only think of one way for the town people to win this now.

Lol, I knew I'd get whacked soon enough. There is ambient dislike for me on the boards!!!

I highly doubt that your assassination had anything to do with ambient dislike for you.
I would chalk it up to buying tactical insurance in light of recent pseudorevelations.

Correction: Two ways it could be won by the villagers. But I give that roughly a one in ten chance of happening. They're on the ropes in less than two days.

Simply that your request for a Detective-Vigilante information link would have been much better stated as a PM. I don't think I'm giving anything away to say that that post drew unwanted attention from the Mafia.

My problem was that I too heavily played people from the beginning. The moment that the mafia knew who was in it, they knew I was dangerously good at manipulating folks, and they promptly carted me off, Judge Hawthorn style. And nobody really knew what side I was on until I could drink a glass of water and have it come out 10^331 holes.

I want to make a small addition that may extend this game a little bit, and add an extra layer of exitment.
Ressurrection.
Every night, the dead people should be able to conveige, and vote on someone to perform a ressurection ritual on. Thus putting that person back into the game. Said person would, obviously, have no memory of who killed him, for the purpose of fairness. And also, this should only be possible if there are three or more people in the graveyard, and the vote MUST be unanimous. (Otherwise the mafia would just kill someone, only to find a previous victim returning every day.)
Or maybe every second night...

First reaction is, that could potentially draw out the length of the game considerably longer than I want it to go. It probably wouldn't occur every night. Only through roles like the Bomb and the Lovers would we be able to make any net progress in the body count.
It could work, but what if a Mafia member got killed? I know it hasn't happened yet, but the Mafia member almost assuredly would not wish to vote an Innocent back into the game. If we go by the fairly sensible unanimous-vote idea, the Mafia member would probably block all resurrections for the rest of the game.
Shoot out some more considerations about this. I'm open to the idea, but it doesn't seem feasible yet.

My proposal for the next game: The Phoenix/Holy Man: When killed for the first time, they remain in the graveyard for at least two days. They return the following morning, no worse for wear. Can stack with other roles, and may only Resurrect once. (maybe, if it was four days or so, they'd have double Rez, but not sure on this one.)
I suggest killing a certain BB to anybody still alive. All the evidence is starting to accrue. And he peed on my grave. (Well, actually, either BB or Baboon is Mafia, methinks, though I'm not sure which one is, or maybe both. And this is making assumptions without thinking about the conspicuously missing Loogs and DL.)

I was thinking about that, or a Necromancer role that can resurrect someone else but not himself. Maybe both. I presume if we get another game together there'll be more players, with all the returning and new members on the board lately.

Game over. Game totally over. The mafia outnumbers the villagers, and the lovers/bomb can't make up for it. Yeah.

I think one fewer mafia member or two more townspeople would be a bit more fair, or more ammunition for afformentioned townspeople (two vigilantes, or some other better killing method?)

A smaller Mafia-townsperson ratio will definitely be employed in the next game.
Ah, jeez, I want to host the next one really badly. I guess this isn't the topic to discuss it, but boy do I have some cool ideas. I'm not just talking about new roles.

We'll gladly let you host it if you so desire. I'm simply saying that if you ever want to play, then I'd play host for you. Can't wait to see what a refined version would be like.

Uh... sorry. Your corpse is still stuck in the Iron Maiden. Igoget.
*hegoget*
Methinks this Mafia game should end with a zombie uprising in which all winning characters are devoured.
