Answer: Your not in it, the room is completely empty.^.^ Sorry Alb, to slow. That is stupid, why do you have to make it bold?

Post by bulbaboy on Nov 7, 2006 15:27:21 GMT -5
Well, mainly because it's in the rules. If you go back and re-read the rules you'll also see that I said any answer post that was edited by the poster will not be accepted. So you didn't follow two rules. I mean, I think the rules are rather simple and easy to follow.
Due to the fact that my laptop is a [insert something Prime/Gil-ish] I will have to make a new master copy of the Prize Box. This will not effect people who have already won. Expect everything to resume in a day or two!

Answering "Why does this stupid rule exist?" with "Because it's the rules" is not an answer at all.

Oh, sorry about that. I edited it because i had the answer for king David on there, instead of the answer for the next riddle, but I am die'ing to know... was I right?

Answering "Why does this stupid rule exist?" with "Because it's the rules" is not an answer at all. Is "Because I say" or "I was hopeing that tons of people would be involved and that there would be tons of posts and that the bolding of the answers would help me find them" an answer?

The latter is certainly an answer, although considering the low number of people currently involved it would be just as well to ignore the rule. Man, I don't know, I just think Albatross should have gotten that one.

Back in buisness will just skip that riddle and I'll use it again at a later date.
Riddle/Question: Ed steps out of his house and is immediately kidnapped and killed. His neighbor, Bob, moves into his old house and eventually he and the house disappear.
What happened? (This is a thinking puzzle of the lateral kind, so think outside the box)

Answer Ed and Bob are squirrels who live in trees. Now, Bob has been eyeing Ed's tree for a while now, it's got a much higher branch-to-trunk ratio which is really pretty desirable among Squirrel Abodes, so Bob had a word with his buddy Sam the fox and arranged for Ed's demise. As soon as Ed goes creeping down among the roots of the tree the next day, bam! Sam catches him and drags him off to his... hole or cave or whatever it is foxes live in, sheesh, I'm not a freakin' foxologist. ANYway, Sam eats Ed, and Bob and his wife Loretta move into the tree, and they're really happy for a while scurrying around on the branches and laughing at Ed's misfortune until the entire forest is mowed down to make room for a Wal-Mart.

As funny as that is, (and close) that is incorrect.
I find it odd how lateral thinking puzzles can have a plethera of answers yet only one correct. I have decided though that I will post a clue once a day till someone gets it or time runs out. Starting tomorow.

Heh, plethora. Good word.
Can I also suggest that you, Bulbs, post the riddles in bold or a different color or something, so I can find it more easily?
Answer Ed is a hermit crab who comes out of his shell and gets owned by a fish. Bob then takes the shell and walks...swims... flies? away
