Man, I really wish there was an easy way to denote historical associations, because some of these alliances have shifted in big ways; namely, Hector was very much aligned with the Summoners up until recently. Is there a way we can do that?
ETA: lel nvm figured it out

Okay, the bulk of the restructuring work is done. There are still a number of spotlighted characters who need descriptions, as well as some alliances lacking descriptions. All of this is still open to criticism and change, obviously.
I left PRP where it is for now. Still feel like we could probably just blip it. It's got the same problem as Househeld, where it's both dormant and not something we necessarily want to advertise (too fanficky).

I alphabetized the short list and added Rie because I'm vain.

It was already alphabetized by last name...
Rie wasn't on there, though? That was definitely a mistake, sorry.

i guess it was bothering me because what even is Silumas/Nopcsa/Yoshimitsu/etc's last name, and imo it looks weird when alphabetizing by last name when not using the format Last, First

Fair enough, but it also looks weird alphabetizing by "primary name" when in everyone's case except Williams's that's their first name, so it's just him sitting down at W for some reason.

well i went back to last name because names are hard.
the two hardest things in computer science are naming things, cache invalidation, and off by one errors

Does anyone else feel like maybe we should have a TV Tropes section for our solo works board? I'm honestly not sure if there is enough relevant material in there for such a thing, but Matriarch at the very least deserves a bit of recognition on our Tropes page. I've also been doing a good deal of solo writing over the summer and I'm hoping to start posting some of it for your reading pleasure.
Not sure who mainly works on our Tropes page or if they have the time right now, it's just something I've been thinking about lately.

Yeah, since Getting to the Truth is ORP canon, there's nothing in the way of those characters getting added to the tropes page. You could add entries for your characters there into Misc. Good/Neutral/Bad, at least for the time being, and then if the story progresses to the point where there's a clear faction emerging that deserves its own page then we could add one.
Aleta and Aeon are both settings that could easily have their own pages, too. It's just a matter of creating the pages.
I'm sort of the main tropes infrastructure guy and I do a lot of adding extra tropes for other people's characters, but as far as just determining which characters from these stories even merit being put on the tropes page, I'd prefer if you/Cendra/Choobs at least added the character entries yourselves since you guys have the best sense of who we should be keeping an eye on.
Don't know whether Choobs is up for troping out Aleta.

I don't actually even know how to do anything on the Tropes page honestly. Do you have to register a profile on there or something?

You do have to register a profile. It's free and quick, though.

I guess I would need to add a page for Aeon to put characters into?

it is free and quick and i used to be active on the forums there but now i mostly just lurk a couple of the gaming and webcomic threads.
i never tropified Aleta because there wasn't much in the way of actual tropes being used due to not getting very far in any of the RPs, but I guess now with Matriarch, I probbaly should? Maybe after a couple more chapters. If someone else wants to start it by copying and pasting the existing parts from the main page into their own page, I won't stop them. I won't do it myself because I cannot figure out wiki formatting.

I guess I would need to add a page for Aeon to put characters into? I can add the page if you like and link it to the main page. I'd just appreciate it if you were to populate it with the characters you want to see there, and add at least a couple of starting tropes for each of them. After that I can also help with more tropes. If someone else wants to start it by copying and pasting the existing parts from the main page into their own page, I won't stop them. I won't do it myself because I cannot figure out wiki formatting. Not sure what you mean here – but we're talking about creating a character subpage for Aleta people, not moving the general setting & story tropes from the main page to anywhere else.
