Eragon took a deep breath, focusing entirely upon his opponent. He stepped, cat style, to the left. Eragon followed his movement in the opposite direction, watching his chest and his eye's, predicting his motions. His chest twisted, bringing his right shoulder back. Punch, straight, right hand. Eragon thought, the punch came straight on, as he'd thought, he trapped it under his right armpit, and hit him in the solarplexus with a flat palm. It knocked the breath out of him, but he didn't fall. Left swing. Eragon thought, it came around, and he blocked it with a stiff arm, after releasing the man's other arm. He twisted at the waist, Boxing kick, straight side, low arc. It came around and made contact with Eragon's leg, as he lifted it into the air and blocked the attack. He brought his leg back into a tiger stance, then surged forward with a yell. "HyAAA!" Knocking his opponent twelve feet back from his current position, and onto the floor.
"Match!" The attendent yelled.
"Whoa that was quick!" "Did you see how he moved?" "That was inhuman, John barely moved, and he knew where his attack would come from!" "Who is he?" "I heard sifu say his name, Eragon apparently." "Really? Eragon? That's incredable!" "What's so great about this guy?" "He competed in the national's last year!" "Yeah, he defeated every opponent he fought, even the masters, without getting so much as a bruise." "More than that, none of his matches lasted more than a minute." "Holy shit, why would he want to fight us student? We pose no challenge to him!" "Probably just trying to keep himself sharp, they're isn't anyone I know of who could beat him." "I guess your right."
Eragon shook his head, ever since that tornament everyone had been so impressed by him, it was unbarable. The honest truth was, no one in that tornament could really fight. It was all for looks, they didn't know how to fight and kill, destroy and maim. They didn't know how to fight in a war, few did. Eragon spent his time searching for those few, who might be able to challenge him, but so far, it looked like this place was going to be a bust. He didn't even need a towel yet. He sighed, and sat down by the ring, deciding to wait for a little longer, to see if he could encounter someone with promise.

Aurora needed to fight. His powers still redeveloping needed to be used, so he could learn and craft his skills to what they once were. As always he was wearing his cloak, the hood shadowing his face. He was currently in a corner of a room, watching this Eragon dude spar, with some idiots. This Eragon certainly new how to fight, he had basically destroyed his opponents. Auro was ready for a fight, he stepped out the shadows, and walked over. Unfastening his cloak he threw it onto a bench, revealing a black shirt and black baggy pants, comfortable but smart-ish. He also unfastened his sword from his back and laid it carefully on the bench
“You want to fight me?” he asked, “good work out.” He added.

Eragon looked this man over critically, with his seeming total lack of fear, and curiosity. "Sure." He said grinning, thinking this might actually be a challenge for once. He got out of his chair, and took of his shirt, he had a feeling it'd be that kind of fight. He climbed back into the ring, put the sparring gloves back on, and waited for the man to approach him.

Auro smiled, finally a fight. He thought for a second figuring a plan of action. Auro flickered out of view, appearing behind Eragon suddenly, his fists glowing with a blue light. He swung a right hook, followed quickly with a fast kick to the back.

He's fast! Eragon thought quickly, ducking and shot his leg out behind him, attempting to trip his up. Then, in response to the kick (his sweep hadn't worked because his leg was already in the air), he rolled, his look crooked at a right angle, and caught his leg, causing it to pass over him. He roll forwards, and did a hand spring unto his feet. Shit, this guy IS a challenge! A bark of happy laughter escaped Eragon's mouth. He shuffle-stepped forwards, attempting a straight punch to the head, followed by a backhand with his right hand, followed by a punch with his left, then a backfist down towards his stomach, then a backwards sweep, and two round-house kicks, to the kidneys and head.

Aurora managed to block the first four punches, but the sweep caught him and he fell backwards, this proved to be lucky as the roundhouse kicks came no where close to Auro.
Again Auro flickered as he sped up the tempo, he launched himself up and ran at Eragon, sweeping under him and throwing his leg round attempting to sweep Eragon off his feet. He followed through with a couple of punches to random body parts.

Eragon to, was luck, as the sweep caught him unawares, as Auro's great speed caught him off guard. He grinned as Auro's punched missed over-head, and put his left hand to the ground, bending it and his legs, then launching himself upwards straight at Auro's chin, his two feet both aimed, flat heel, to knock Auro over. Assuming he went down, Eragon would then twist and bring his legs down on top of him, but if he didn't, he'd just fly over his head, and then back kick to the middle of his back once he regained the ground.

Auro indeed, did go down, but just as Eragon’s second attack was going to hit, Auro teleported away so his following attack also missed. The port wore him out a bit. Auro still not used to it, as he once used to be.
Auro ran at his opponent again, and once again his fist gained an aura of blue. He threw a flurry of punches, as fast as he could at Eragon’s head and chest.

Seeing an opportunity, Eragon turned his second attack into a roll, and launched himself once more at Auro, as he charged in, hands glowing blue. This time, however, his legs were open. He intended to capture Auro's chest, and then roll forwards onto his hands, then fall back onto his stomach, effectivily ramming Auro's head into the ground.

Auro’s head hurt. It has just been rammed into the ground. Unfortunately Eragon with still on top of Auro. So once again, Auro managed to free his arms from under Eragon and aim a flurry of punches to Eragon’s head.

Eragon took two punches to the head, but managed to deflect the rest, and caught Auro arm on the last blow. He twisted and threw him, trying to get him out of the ring, which would be a match if the bastard actually landed out there instead of teleporting again. Somehow, however, he doubted he'd actually land outside the ring.

Auro didn’t get thrown very far, not enough to be through out the ring though. He had landed on his back, not very hard though, and was about to rise to his feet when some guy shouted at him and Eragon.
“Get out the fucking ring, you’ve been in there too long,” some old guy shouted. Auro smirked and got up straitening his clothing out.
“Who’s the old man?” Auro asked Eragon.

Eragon grinned, "That's this dojo's sifu. I believe he's pissed off at us for holding up his students sparring sessions, despite that fact that this is supost to be an open session." Eragon's expression changed, "Your no ordinary fighter, if you'd entered a tornament, as I have, no one would be able to touch you." He said, towling himself dry, then pulling his shirt back on. "Where did you learn how to fight?" He asked, buckling on his belt, his dagger and sheath behind his right hip. "You know what, lets go grab some coffee and continue our conversation, before that old geezer has a hernia."

“Sure.” Agreed Auro, coffee sounded good. They left the dojo and walked to the nearest coffee shop. It was a quick journey and they sat down, Auro order a normal coffee.
“The answer to wear I learned to fight, I trained with my brother and a few others.” He answered, “I can control ice, use a sword, teleport and I’m very fast as you saw,” he added. “Where did you learn to train?” he asked Eragon.

Eragon settled into his seat, and order a black columbian coffee, milk, no sugar, then turned towards Auro to consider his answer. "I never learned how to fight from anyone. I'm natural style, my body knew how to fight before the notion even came into my mind." He said calmly, few people believed this of him however. "However, after the tornament last year, I stumble into 'your world' you might say. Before then, I was a normal human, if a skilled fighter. But I got sucked into the magical world, in a place called the Nightside, and trapped in a bargain. Doing the best I could, I turned the bargain mostly to my advantage, however, their will be a huge price to pay, should I ever die." He said.
He fiddled with the heft of his dagger, but refrained from mentioning it, it was no one's buisness but his own. "Essentially, I am immortal, and indestructible. I can be killed, but I won't tell you how, or anyone else for that matter." He shrugged, "And as a normal human in shape and form, its hard for me to gain any other power."

“I see.” Auro answered simply. He thought the answer over in his mind. He couldn’t remember hearing anything like this before, but then again all of Auro’s former knowledge was locked away somewhere in his mind.
“Do you know anyway to unlock knowledge that’s locked away in one’s mind?” he asked Eragon, it was worth a shot and maybe Eragon could help him gain some of his memory back.

"Well, considering the kind of fighter you are, the most helpful thing would probably be throwing yourself into a perilous situation. If you found a situation similar to one in your memory, it may cause that memory to be unlocked." He paused for a moment, and a piece of conversation drifted over to them from a far table. "Yeah, there's a cave up north a little ways. It has 'The Alter of Frost' carved over the top of it. Suppost to have two divine objects of the frost queen Shiva in it..." Eragon turned and looked towards the source, but couldn't disern who'd spoken. "And it looks like we've just encountered a prime candidate. By the way, what's your name? I didn't catch it before we fought."

“The names Aurora, most called me Auro, before I disappeared for awhile, yours is Eragon right? I heard the guys at the dojo say it.” Auro answered. He also heard the conversation about the Ice Cave.
“I say we port there,” Auro said. And he downed his steaming hot coffee, and grabbed onto Eragon’s shoulder. And in seconds they were on some rocky plains before a cave entrance.
“Looks like this is it.” Said Auro, peering into the dark cave. “After you!” Auro motioned to Eragon.

Eragon blicked, a classic expression of confusion on his face. "Well, uh, the was extremely disconcerting." He said, then turned and walked into the cave without a second word. The inside of the cave was covered in ice, though he didn't have any difficulty walking, it wasn't hard to keep your footing with all the snow scattered about. The first problem Eragon encountered, as just after he'd stepped onto a low precipice. Their was a low rumble, and a spike shot out of the floor, stopping just in front of his nut sack. "Ahem." He said carefully, "When I find out who put these in here, I'm registering a complain. Violently."

Aurora walked past the nearly castrated Eragon. Auro could feel the power of Shiva, in this cave. He embraced it; he could feel his power over ice returning to him. H smirked. Finally something other than a sword he could use to win his battles.
“The power here is amazing,” he murmured to Eragon. He was about to say more when something ran at him from deeper within the cave, a warrior made of ice. Auro drew his sword, ready for the attack. He ducked the ice sword that was swung at him, the warrior was travelling so fast he went past Aurora. Auro swivelled around, swinging the sword with him, it cleaved through the ice easily effectively cutting the Ice Warrior in half.
“Ha. Is that it?” Auro mocked.
A deep voice sounded from deep within the cave, “You dare enter the cave of Shiva? You’ll never get past me and my minions,”
“What the hell was that?” whispered Auro.

"No idea, but what say we go find out eh?" Eragon said happily, glad to have something dangerous to ponder. He looked down at the spike again, "But carefully eh?" He moved forwards, keeping his steps light, careful not to trigger any more traps. He stopped, "Hey Auro, how did you know where the cave was to teleport to anyways?" He asked, curious. Then ducked as a blade flew over his head. His dagger was out in a second, and another second later, the ice warrior fell into tens of shards, scattered across the floor. "Guess now isn't the best time to ask." He said, looking around for any more of the well camoflaged warriors.

Aurora continued on the ice path. A lot of the ground was crumbling below him.
“Strange.” said Aurora. “This should be solid ground,” he explained to Eragon. He picked up a small piece of ice from the ground, and threw it hard down the passage. Just as he thought, another trap, the ground had crumbled leaving a thin beam to cross with. He tried to teleport across, Auro couldn’t.
“Damn it, teleportation wards, can’t cross by porting,” murmured Auro.

Eragon raised an eye-brow at Auro. "You know, with speeds like ours, we can simple..." He dissappeared, and a long blur appeared across the white wall of the cavern. "Run across on the wall!" He yelled back to Auro.

Aurora did the same. He sped up and ran across the wall, just as Eragon had done. He landed carefully sliding a little, there wasn't any snow here just ice.
"After you," he said to Eragon.

Eragon gave a little salute, reversed his grip on his dagger, and walked forwards deeper into the caverns. They didn't encounter anymore traps, or even anymore henchmen, and Eragon was beginning to wonder what was going on. They came to a dead end, at last. "Well, I guess this is why we haven't found anything else eh?" He said, "Guess we'd better turn back." He turned, but hesitated for a moment. Then reached out and touched the wall, as if to make sure it was there. In a second, he was sucked into it.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" He screamed, as he flew through a tunnel of solid ice, being sucked through the ice itself. He accelerated to insane speeds and beyond, before being flung out the other end, down onto the ground. "Ouf!" He looked around slowly, and all he could see was one giant temple, made of red-wood, in a traditional japanese style, covered in a thick sheet of ice. You could still walk through the corridors, but it'd be one slippery place.

Aurora smirked amd followed Eragon, he touched the ice. Unlike Eragon's journey, Auro enjoyed his, the ice gave him power. He could feel it pulsing through him, as if he was alive.
He landed next to Eragon and looked around.
"No welcoming party? Bad hosts." Auro joked. He slid across the floor, before grabbing a thin pillar to stop himself.
"Something is wrong.. This place is powerful. But the power is jumping about... Any idea whats in here?" he asked Eragon.
