So where do we post at night?
Also, to whomever the Coroner is: I know the power is optional but what the hell, dude? I'm dying (lol) to know whether or not Babs was innocent.

Hmm... what if Babs was the Coroner...? *wink*

I would've expected him to reveal Pikachu's role then.

Ah, but what if him and pikachu are linked? Pika could have been the doctor and Babs the coroner, both know each others roles, so there would be no reason for him to reveal it. Right?

But Pikachu was saved by the doctor, so if anything Pika was the coroner and Babs was the doctor.

That's a good point, but if the Doctor's gone we've got no protection and if the Coroner is gone then we have no way of knowing the roles of the deceased meaning we won't know who we've executed was guilty or not until the end, right?
What it seems then, assuming that they are the Doctor and Coroner, is that the mob killed one and we killed the other and thereby royally screwed ourselves. I hope you're wrong, Pope, 'cause that would have tilted the scales too much. What I'd really prefer is that Babs at least was mafia and the Coroner/Doctor is just a.w.o.l. for a minute (we do have a significant number of no-shows, at the moment) and if Babs was innocent, I'd rather he be something less important like the Miller or something.
Vaxx - That would explain why there wasn't an autopsy on Pikachu. It would also leave Babs to be anything other than the Coroner or Mayor.

Im pretty sure I'm right in what I say, I could be wrong, but I doubt it. The Coroner must be dead, because all the active people who would post have been on, and no one was revealed, and I doubt he/she would hold his/her power, which leads only to the assumption that Babs HAD to be the Coroner. And Pika being the doctor was just talk, but I believe it pretty firmly. Aurora, I'm almost positive, is Mafia, and he MUST be killed in the next meeting if we hope of winning this game. Alls we can hope is that we hit a mafia member every meeting from now on. There is only one way we can have a chance for error and that is if the mafia cant come to a decisive vote (which I doubt will happen) or they hit the ferryier on the odd day, the more likely of the 2 (20% chance)

Pikachu couldn't be the doctor because he was saved by the doctor on the first night.
What was the evidence against Aurora again?

Pikachu could have been the doctor, IIRC, they can heal-wank through the trouble. (Scratch that, it's been removed. Pity, because it made an interesting strategic gambit, forcing a day time kill.)
Of course, a doctor healing themselves from the start seems rather odd.
And the fact that the entire nonMafia alliance doesn't already know exactly what's going on points to Babs being Mafia. The fact that Boom and I are alive points to Babs possibly not being Mafia, and one of us BEING Mafia, since Babs knows how to play and likes to terminate the best players on the opposition fast.
At least one of these three: Baboon, Kuro, Pope. Somebody there is Mafia. I know I'm not.

Pointing the finger at someone else in order to shift the blame from oneself is exactly what I would expect someone guilty to do.

The blame was nowhere near me, I'd be safer with my mouth shut. By your own logic, you are much more likely as Mafia.
If I was Mafia, I could have DLed my way through to the end. So opening my mouth is more likely the sign of an innocent who's onto the Mafia's plans.

I'm just saying that you were quick to say "These people could be Mafia, but certainly not me."
I don't exactly appreciate having a gun pointed at me, if you know what I mean.

*pours excessive ammounts of cream and sugar into tea* This is almost definate proof indeed. This increases your chances to 25%... Still, with a cunning opponent like you, there's still the possibility of doubt...

Well, I obviously would like to withdraw my accusation of Lee unless of course the Mafia killed one of their own to shake us off their trail.

Why do you say that Cinders? Us Innocents are going to win this. WE still have the advantage. And I have concocted a plan to take the mafia down that is almost flawless. I bet I'm going to die tonight, because you fear me Cinders, but its ok, because the wheel has already started rolling, and it is very unlikely the mafia can stop it unless they get very lucky.

Really, all we've got to do is execute the remaining mafia members. If Babs really was one like Pope suggested (I'm a bit confused on that one) and Kaz was one too, then there are only 2 left.

|
|
Post by Popebenedict on Jan 3, 2008 16:46:52 GMT -5
Yes, even if Babs wasn't mafia (cause I'm just thoroughly confused about him) and even if Kaz wasn't (which i HIGHLY doubt) we still have a chance. There is still the vigilante and the ferry man. If they hit the ferry man they waste a valuable night, and if the vigilante hits them, obviously that's good for us. It's crunch time, and it COULD go either way, but as long as we play our cards the right way, we have the advantage, and should be able to win.

Whereas by my calculations, we have at least 3 Mafia members left. At the moment I don't have much hope left, and frankly I'm expecting to die tonight. Oh, and hey, you Mafia members. I know for sure who one of you is. If I don't die, I'm going to try to get rid of you any way I can. And if I do die, well. More fool you for killing me and proving me right.

There's always hope. Assuming there's only 3 mafia and 5 Innocents left there's still a chance. How?
They kill someone tonight, making it 3-4. We kill one of them tomorrow making it 2-4. They kill us making it 2-3. We kill one of them the next day making it 1-3. The last assassination will knock us down 1-2 and then the final execution leaves two Innocents left and zero mafia.
If we killed 2 mafia so far there will be 3 survivors. Also, if the vigilante is alive still and they have 2 shots, there's a chance of there being as many as 5 survivors if 2 mafia are already dead.

... Good luck with that It'd take a miracle for the innocents to win now.. I just had a thought, the coroner has only examined me, either they're being lazy, or they died and can't use their power anymore. =/ ah well We do have a number of lurkers.

I've been speaking with the dead again. There should only be two mafia members left. There are six players, so four are Innocent. They can kill one tonight, we get one tomorrow, they kill one that night, and the last one dies the next day. The Innocents will win, but with only two survivors. We can have three survivors and then kill the easy target if the certain powers are used.
I wrote this because certain dead mafia members wanted to lament in the graveyard and I'm not allowed to speak there.
