I could run the next Mafia? I'm on quiet a bit, maybe not as much as a few of the other members, but I usually am on for at least 2 hours a day.

Now I REALLY want to run the next Mafia with Babs.
I'd like to suggest a Mafia betting topic for any non-Mafia players. Of course, to prevent influence on the game, it would be held on another Xanga. But people get to bet EP on who's Mafia and who's not.
There IS one problem though and that is that almost everyone on the boards plays Mafia. x.x Errr.... I'll fix that somehow. Maybe once all the rezes are gone, any dead members can bet too? Meh.

Dead members, depending on their role, may know things non-players don't.

True, true, then I guess we'd have to stick with non-players only. But who else is there not playing besides Spiff, Gil, DL, and Pyro?

How do you know those people won't join Mafia III?

....good point. But there's a limited amount of space, so I think we're guaranteed four non-players. I was using Mafia II as an example.

How is there a limited amount of space? There can be as many players as the Host can think up roles.

The more roles, the more complicated the game gets, as evidenced by the current game. I might add one or two more roles, but others will certainly be tweaked. But there must be a certain amount of people who simply do not want to play. >.< There just has to be. just let me be right for once ya stupid doodyface

Suggestion: DO NOT ADD ANY MORE NEW ROLES! @_@ From the first game to this was an insane jump in complication. Between the obscene number of items floating around to all the roles, it's become incredibly difficult to predict how anything will turn out. I do like some of the changes, but anything more than what we already have is just unnecessarily complicating things even further.

I'm quite happy if people are just... normal people. Some are boring like that and lack any notable quirks. What about combining the Detective and the Vigilante into one Vigilective. Say he has the ability to query the Host once a night or take a shot at someone. And give him/her unlimited bullets, because those bullets shoot to kill. Or just keep them separate and make the Vigilante's bullets shoot to kill, because if he can't be fooled like the detective, why'd he shoot in the first place?

The Vigilective proposition has the same problem as Prime's Detective-Vigilante information link proposition last game. It just makes things too easy for the Vigilante.

Yeah, I thought of that after I typed that sentence, then hit post anyway.
But maybe making the Vigilante have unlimited bullets, or at least the ability to buy bullets, but having the bullets kill no matter what.

Having the bullets kill no matter what would be cooler, but it should still miss innocents. Maybe three bullets would be better. And I still support the idea of Necromancer, and get rid of rezes. Hmmm... I think that instead of getting shields, the Bodyguard should automatically take the Viggie's bullet for any Mafia member. Or maybe just the Godfather. Meh. I still want my Mafia betting pool.

Oh, heh, Loogs, I had that exact same idea about the bodyguard taking a bullet instead of having many shields.

And the Lovers are no fun anymore, Pohatu. I want to see deaths due to broken hearts.

Um... why are the Lovers no longer fun just because at least one of them is still alive?
