OOC- If it doesn't pick up here, I'll turn it into a fic.
BIC- There was a weak breeze moving through the air, ruffling the grass, the leaves on the trees, and two boys' hair. The sky with filled with grey clouds, blotting out the sun and releasing threating rumbles. There was a crunching sound, and the rustle of clothes.
Vincent stabbed the Masamune into the ground, and turned to face Clen. He gave a serious look, and then turned again, facing a grave. There were at least a dozen varied collections of flowers placed around it, the breeze threatening to push some of them away. He knelt, and placed another bouquet, despite the fact that there was very little space left.
"You're taking this pretty bad," Clen commented, shifting his weight to his right foot. "What do you expect?" Vincent replied, yanking the Masamune out of the ground. "I killed him, Clen. I didn't want to, but I did. And I ****ing hate myself for it." "I know, but still..." Clen said, scratching his head awkwardly. "He brought it on himself." "Says who?" Vincent said, slipping the Masamune on to his back, to go with his buster sword. "You don't know that, and neither do I."
Clen was silent, not meeting Vincent's eyes. He shifted his weight from one foot to the other, and back again. He didn't want to look at Vincent at the moment, he could tell that Vincent was wearing one of those 'if looks could kill' looks. He slowly raised his head. What he saw shocked him. Vincent's eyes were filled with sadness and regret.
"Clen, it wasn't right. I don't get it. Why did he suddenly act like that?" Vincent said very quickly, sounding very worried. "He wouldn't just do that, I know he wouldn't. I gotta know."
"How?" Clen replied, sounding skeptical. Not something Yoshimitsu would do? He didn't believe that. "And how are you sure he wouldn't do that?"
"Shut up, Clen," Vincent snapped. Clen fell silent, staring at Vincent. "You didn't know him like I did. You didn't know him at all. Don't try to tell me he'd do something like that because he wouldn't. I know... knew him."
"Vincent... I'm sorry..." Clen said, sounding suddenly horrorstruck. "I don't care," Vincent said, turning away. "I just don't care. I'm going to find out why he did what he did, no matter what."
*****
"So remind me why you're wearing that thing?" Clen said, smirking slightly. Vincent was sporting a backwards baseball cap that was completely black except for a dragon motif on the front. His shades had been replaced with reflective shades.
"Remember all those flowers I got? Well, I didn't pay for them," Vincent said, adjusting his hat so it fully concealed his hair. "No, I took a more violent approach to getting them." Clen laughed. "Why does that not surprise me?" He said, grinning and dodging two young children who were chasing each other. "Anyway, what are we doing in this city?" "Portal business," Vincent said. "About once a month, a portal appears connecting this world to another. It usually appears somewhere completely random and desolate, but if I'm right, it'll come here," Vincent explained. "So what's so special about this portal?" Clen said, trying to hide his grin.
"This portal is the same portal that links this world to his home world," Vincent said, pushing past two old ladies that seemed to think they needed the whole path. "He isn't human, just looks it. Anyway, there's gotta be some clue that'll tell me what happened to him."
"I see..." Clen said quietly. He didn't see how this other world could help Vincent. "I doubt that," Vincent said with an amused smile. "Anyway..." Vincent checked his watch.
"Five... four... three... two... one..." Vincent counted. He looked up, and waited. "You got it right down to the seconds?" Clen said, laughing. Vincent didn't seem to hear him. He sighed, and shrugged. However, he paused halfway through the shrug. He had heard a strange noise, a sort of... ripping noise. He slowly raised his head, and looked at the sky.
"Come on," Vincent said, grabbing Clen's hand, and shooting into the now-rapidly appearing portal. Clen looked up, but was suddenly taken by the colour that surrounded them.
"Vincent better know what he's doing..." Clen thought to himself.

Kemuy snapped to stillness 3000 meter above a city, he could sense something twisting below he, turning the universe until it was on the brink of being torn apart. "What?! A portal?" He looked thoughtfully in its direction, he couldn't see it, nor did anyone around its general vecinity seem to be bothered at all. Though he could still sense two people of great power, just, waiting. He guessed they were waiting for it to open. He shrugged, and dropped out of the sky, landing in front of the one wearing a baseball cap.
"Hi, I'm Kemuy. Would you mind telling where that portal is going, and, if you don't mind, why you want to go through it?" He turned towards the other man momentarily, nodding respectfully, then refocused his attention on the one in the baseball cap.

"Portal, mm?" After the first portal incident in Olivine, Helen had been on the lookout for more portals that would appear. Her indicator spell hadn't notified her of any new ones until now, and she instantly whipped up a teleportation spell to bring her to the location.
She paused, looking around at the people, and wondering what their own plans and purposes for this portal were.

Foxy winced suddenly, and stopped amidst her training, in mid jump. She paused, looking around cautiously. No humans within a kilometre. She frowned. She knew she had felt it, a tear. Something unnatural... Foxy whirled suddenly, but there was no-one there. She knew this, and yet, she remained alert. A presence, slightly more familiar. But not near her. She closed her eyes, trying to sense where this presence was. She had no luck, but instead, found to her surprise, that she could sense where the tear had happened.
In an instant, she was there. She almost smiled, seeing Vincent, but stopped herself as she saw his face. "What is it, Vincent?" she asked carefully.

OOC- Hehe. Just so ya know, Vincent's already in the portal BIC- Vincent adjusted his grip on Clen's wrist, and spun very quickly, building up momentum. After about six full-turns, he let go of Clen, sending him rocketing into the portal. The portal's grip alone was enough, but it helped to make sure. Vincent raised his hands to his face, and tugged off his hat and quickly swapping his shades to his usual ones. He shook his head, but he didn't need to - the speed of moving through the portal was fixing his hair enough. As soon as he felt the portal's grip loosen on him, he looked up, seeing his destination. With a flip, he was out of the portal, and rocketing through the air, ignoring his bizzare surroundings. The surroundings truly were strange - the paths were apparently rock, though they had a more metallic feel to them. They were supported on huge pillars of the same material, which stretched into the darkness below, the ends concealed by the darkness below. The sky was a dark blue colour, with a bright blue 'sun'. Vincent shrugged off the surroundings, and dropped slightly, following the curves and bends of the path as he shot through this unfamiliar world. He had to be careful as he went, though, as many wild creatures ran loose, all of them eager for a taste of human flesh.

Kemuy shook his head, "Doesn't anyone stick around long enough to answer questions anymore!" He asked nothing in particular, the stepped into the portal himself. He felt his body being torn at, something trying to force him out of his own head, but then he was on the other side, and nothing could hurt him anymore. Exept for those really truly nasty looking animals wandering around the edges of his senses. He looked around, taking in the extremely strange souroundings, and suddenly got the feeling that he'd come to a very bad place. He looked around, spotting a man stationary on the ground, and another flying through the air. He walked around in front of the stationary man, and asked, "Alright, just what the hell is going on?"

Helen produced a ring of jade from her hat.
"Ring to me my dear friend gave, Protect from the harms most grave!"
The ring dissolved, and Helen felt a protective field surround her as she floated closer to the portal with a levitation spell. As she enterred the portal, she felt it push against her, but her forcefield protected her from any more severe consequences. She flew through the portal at a breakneck rate, landing roughly on the ground and then rolling to her feet. She glowed blue very slightly, obviously a manifestation of her forcefield. She looked around cautiously, waiting for word on where they had ended up.

"Your guess is as good as mine," Clen said, shrugging. He raised his hand to his shoulder, and grabbed the twin-bladed sword strapped to his back, swinging it over his head and holding it loosely at his side.
Vincent could feel his surroundings flying by him, like a faint buzzing in his ears. Nothing mattered to him at the moment, except for getting to the city. Yoshimitsu's race were... unusual. While they may have looked like humans on the outside, they were a blood-thirsty, violent race, and they ignored all difficulties when aiming for a specific goal. Vincent shuddered - that race scared him slightly. Yoshimitsu was nothing like them, and he had no idea why.
Vincent felt a sudden sadness wash over him. There had been so much he had wanted to tell Yoshimitsu, and so many questions left unanswered. Shook his head quickly, and stared ahead once again. Up ahead, barely a hundred meters ahead, a hulking great monster stood, glaring at him as he got closer. It was dark grey-green, with two arms that seemed to have a tough shell mutation. It seemed to have a fairly small body, but its arms were acting like a protective shell. Vincent have an angry grunt, he didn't have time for this.

"Fistfull of dirt, To the seam deal the hurt!"
Helen seized up some dirt from her pocket, and it dissolved into energy. A blast of energy formed between the limbs in an attempt to knock them clear of the creature's main body.
"Quick! If this works, we'll have an opening!" Helen shouted, and began dreaming up another attack.

Foxy snorted. It was clear from Vincent's movements that he wanted away from this beast, and quickly. Having followed Vincent wordlessly, Foxy now stood beside him. Though she noted a sudden burst of emotion from him, she did not mention it, but instead focussed on the monster. Its arms were obviously a strong point; and yet, Foxy had learned to turn opponents' strengths against them.
Raising both her hands, palms outwards, she summoned a jet of water at the monster, who instinctively used its arms to block. As the water hit and sprayed off the arms, however, some of it lingered, and with a flick of Foxy's wrists, the water, seeping into spaces between bits of shell, suddenly froze, expanding a few centimetres within a split second.
The monster looked down at its arms and roared in pain and surprise. As it did so, the ice abruptly melted again. Before it respond, the water had frozen again, and the monster writhed in pain as parts of its shell, attached to its forearms, were literally being ripped apart.
Foxy let the ice melt, and the water slowly drip to the ground, leaving the monster breathing heavily. She hoped that it would take the hint.

Vincent glanced at both Helen and Foxy as he drew the Masamune, gripping the handle tightly. He was thankful that they were here, and if they all survived this encounter, he'd make sure to thank them. Until then, however...
Vincent spun in the air, watching Helen's assault, and then Foxy's, watching carefully for a weak spot. There didn't seem to be one, not as far as he could see. While Foxy's attack had done a great amount of damage, it didn't tell Vincent enough. Helen's attack, however, gave him an idea.
He shot at the creature, holding the Masamune in front of him. The creature raised its now badly-damaged arms and shielded itself from any attacks. Vincent watched as it did so, and noticed something - in the centre of both arms, it had two pale blue crystals, embedded in the monster's flesh. Vincent gave a small smirk, and swung the Masamune expertly as he stopped right in front of the monster.
The Masamune was an unusual weapon. The curve of the blade and the very tip were both designed for optimum damage, but only if you could wield the weapon correctly, and it was a very hard weapon to wield. For one, it couldn't be wielded in two hands. Even though Vincent had barely touched the sword since he'd acquired it, somehow it felt entirely natural in his hands. He drew the blade back, holding it parallel to the ground. With one mighty thrust, he stabbed the blade right into the crystal, shattering it.
The shards of crystal seemed to float through the air. Vincent watched them carefully, as though in a trance. However, after a few seconds, the shards faded away. Vincent blinked, and shoot his head quickly, jumping back to see what effect his attack had had. The arm which the crystal was on was glowing a pale blue, and changing shape, shrinking and losing its mutation. Vincent gave another small smirk, and slipped the Masamune back into its holder on his back.
"Time to end this," Vincent said, holding his palms together just in front of his chest. He concentrated briefly, and a white orb of energy formed in front of him. Vincent moved his hands around the orb, instantly gaining control over it. Quickly, the orb grew in size, as Vincent fed it more and more energy. After just a few seconds, it had reached the size of a basketball.
Vincent hopped back, drawing his hands back over his head. With a flash, he was in the air, hair suddenly golden. With a mighty throw, the orb of energy soared through the air, crashing into the monster's exposed chest. The monster drew his other arm over himself as far as he could, almost stopping the blast. However, the energy was too strong, and it was pushed over the edge, into the abyss.
Vincent dropped back onto the rock. "Thanks for your help," he said, looking to both Foxy and Helen. "But I really gotta get moving."
Vincent ran to the edge where the monster had fallen, and kicked off, shooting through the sky once more.

Foxy stood still for a motion, sending an inquisitive look to Helen. From her face, she saw that she didn't seem to have any more clue than Foxy. "He's an informative one today, he is," she muttered, half the Helen, half to herself. Her lips quirked in a smile, before she rose and quickly followed Vincent. She still had no clue where they were, so she wasn't keen on losing Vincent.

Helen nodded. "It gets old." She said simply, and began working on a flight spell. It was tricky to whip up one that could give her real aerial performance, most just gave levitation. She mused over it, and thought to herself several little poetic verses. None were really substantial enough.
"Ah, screw this."
"Road in the night, I ask, give me flight."
With that, Helen lifted from the earth, and a large portion of the road she had been on disappeared totally. She rocketted after the others, ready for trouble if it came.

Vincent ignored the voices of his companions, if you could call them that. They looked more like tag-alongs, if you watched the whole situation from afar. None of them knew what they were doing there or how to get out. However, Vincent didn't think that. He was thankful that they were there, and knew that he'd have to rely on them more than once.
Vincent started spinning, holding his hands out to either side and gathering energy. It was not his usual way of gathering energy. He was ripping it out of anything he could find, and gathering it into his hands. Normally, he wouldn't do this. However, it required a form of energy much greater than his usual attacks.
As he gathered energy, he focused, his hair going from golden to silver, as he concentrated more. He was moving faster than ever, and was lighting up everywhere for at least a mile around. With a quick spin, he had stopped and was hovering vertically, his hands glowing with pure energy. "Time to see what ya got," Vincent said, drawing his hands together, combining the energies. He then drew his hands back over his head, and quickly swung them forward, throwing the energy.
The orb soared through the air for a few moments. It seemed like nothing was going to happen. However, after a few seconds, it exploded against an invisible barrier. The barrier came into view, and slowly faded away. As it did so, a huge city appeared. Vincent smirked, and shot into the city.

"Quite interesting." Helen shouted, dashing into the city as fast as she could. "But if you had asked, I could have dispelled that barrier for you." She followed Vincent closely, not wishing to be lost in the hustle of the civilization. She wanted to be sure that she could find her way home. She could do it just by dissolving matter into magical energy and giving it purpose with a rhyme, but she was in an unknown location and really didn't know how much fuel it would take. If she tried getting home with magic, she might end up lost in space or such.

"No use," Vincent said. "The barrier only falls to an extreme power. There are enchantments and other such crap protecting it, and the city. When the barrier does fall, it isn't for long, either."
Vincent stood in the middle of the road, and raised his head. Right in the centre of the city, where he wanted to be, was the Lord's Tower. It was essentially just a government building. If there was a government here. Vincent sighed. No use trying to barge in there, it was too well protected.
"Alright, few rules," Vincent said, turning to see his companions. "One, no fighting. These guys are really strong and really violent. Two, try not to draw attention to yourselves, the last thing we need is to get chucked out of here, right after getting in. We'll have made enough commotion just by entering."
The city was truly a sight to behold. Towers upon towers of crystal-like buildings, seeming to constantly change colour depending on how you moved. Everything looked expensive and finely made. Vincent didn't care, however, as he was much more concerned about his primary goal. He gave Clen a significant look, and Clen nodded. As soon as everyone had gone, Clen came over.
"Why are you really here, Vincent?" Clen asked softly. "I... I don't know, really..." Vincent said sounding suddenly worried. "The ruler... he must've done something... anything... I don't know. He wouldn't... he wouldn't just act like that. I..." "It's alright, Vincent," Clen said, embracing the young warrior. Vincent seemed to calm down. His breathing certainly settled, as did his heart rate.
*****
"I don't get it," Vincent said, lying on a bed. They were staying in a random house the owner had been kind enough to rent out. "Hmm?" Clen said, looking up from the floor, where he was adjusting his sword. "It's just an assumption and all," Vincent said. "But, like, if it was that lord guy, how did he do it?" "Dunno," Clen replied, looking back at his sword. "Mind control?" "Maybe..."
There was a sudden knocking on the door. Vincent sprung off the bed and was stood in front of the door within a second. It helped to be physically fit. He turned the handle, and pulled open the door.
"Are you the visitors to the city?" An official-looking man asked. "Yeah, who the hell are you?" Vincent replied, looking puzzled. "Come with me. Lord Dran wishes to talk to you," The man ordered. "Not without my friends," Vincent said, his hand resting on the hilt of his Masamune. "They have also been requested at this meeting," the man said. "Tch. Fine then," Vincent said. Clen stood up, and tapped Vincent on the shoulder.
"This makes my life so much easier," Vincent said quietly to Clen. "What if it's a trap?" Clen asked. "See how much I really care," Vincent said, following the official.

Foxy, without opening the door, quietly sent a small, barely noticeable breeze through the edges of the door, and listened. One man, wearing something heavy, or a lot of things, standing straight. She opened the door.
"Are you one of the visitors to the city?" The man, wearing what appeared to be a uniform, asked.
Foxy sensed there would be no direct harm in answering this man. "Yes."
"Lord Dran wished to talk to you. Your friends have been requested as well." Foxy looked down the hall. She saw nothing, but could feel Vincent close by, and obliging. So, she trusted his judgement. Not that she really had a choice, having no knowledge of this place. And, she might get some answers, at least.
You'd better know what you're doing Vincent, Foxy thought wryly. If this was a trap... Then again, even if it were, she'd at least have a few answers. A few out of a long chain. She would keep her senses alert.

Kamuy lye on the top of the building the others were staying in, thinking. He sat up, looking out over the city and at the strange horizon. 'This sure is a strange place.' He thought, 'Everywhere I turn my senses, beings stronger than the average human, many stronger even than myself, a ki weilding martial artist, and saijin to boot. Yes, this place is very strange, and dangerous.' He gave a start, he could see some of the others coming out of the front of the building, and another man floated up from the street to speak with him.
"You've been invited to an audience with Lord Dran, your friends have been invited as well." The man said, he looked very prim, official, and in control of the situation. Kamuy looked more carefully at this man, scanning his spirit. "And if I refuse?" An evil glint came to the eye's of the man, and he looked at Kamuy with a hungry expression, the energy around him flaring. "That would be unwise." He stated flatly, mastering himself. Kamuy shrugged, no use fighting with small fry, and he might get some answers, though he doubted he'd like them. "Lead the way." He said, the bastard lacked the grace to keep a straight face, and a disappointed look stole across his features. He mastered himself, nodded, and began the float away. Kamuy followed him, the feeling in his gut matching the expression's of the miserable faces down on the street below. This was not going to be a good meeting.

"There's something not quite right, Clen," Vincent said, as the pair of them followed the (what they assumed to be) guard. "Oh? What's up?" Clen asked, looking around as they walked, sometimes glaring at a person who gave them a somewhat hostile look. "Last time we came, the ruler - Dran - had a reason for inviting us to his castle thing," Vincent said calmly. "But, as far as I can see anyway, he doesn't have any real reason. Except for maybe threatening his 'perfect world'." "Perfect world?" Clen enquired. "He's really arrogant," Vincent said, winking. Clen laughed.
It wasn't long before Vincent and Clen found themselves stood outside of the largest building of the city. It stood, at least ten times bigger than the second largest building. The doors were both huge and majestic, decorated with a carving of a dragon. The dragon was an interesting one, with a snake-like body, wings that looked as though they'd have a hard time keeping the dragon in the air, two horns on it's head (one on the top of the head, the other just above its nose) and sharp-looking talons.
Vincent lowered his head, and looked directly in front of him. The guard was opening the door. This took Vincent back...
"Yoshi... What is this place?" Vincent asked, looking around edgily. "I'm not quite sure," Yoshimitsu replied. "I feel like I've been here before... Y'know, hazy images, like a dream." Vincent nodded. "Yeah... But... Who could ever have lived here?" Vincent asked.
Vincent gave a short, humour-less laugh as he remembered that. Clen gave him an odd look, but Vincent shook his head. "If you would kindly enter. Your friends shall be here shortly," the guard said. "I was instructed to take you to the hall." "Get on with it," Vincent said. The guard nodded, and turned, leading the two to another room.
*****
"Looks like everyone's here, Vince," Clen said, looking around. "Doesn't matter hugely," Vincent said, resting his feet on a table. "As much as I want them to be here, Dran's the one controlling this meeting." "Oh? How come?" Clen replied, raising his eyebrows, revealing his eyes. "Didn't you sense those guards?" Vincent said. "It's obvious, they reek of power. We can't leave with them around. And he's keeping us waiting." "Maybe he forgot about us," Clen said, winking and smirking. "I should be so lucky," Vincent said under his breath.
As if on cue, all the lamps around switched themselves off. All the doors slammed shut, leaving the ground stranded in darkness. Vincent stood up and raised his right hand, making flames erupt there, lighting the room slightly. However, the flame didn't last long. A sudden gust of wind caused Vincent to lose concentration, and the flame went out.
"Now now, young warrior," A voice tutted. "You should know that I don't like people breaking my rules." "Oh, so darkness is a rule now, is it?" Vincent snapped back. The voice laughed. The sounds of moving armour filled the air, growing louder and louder, closer and closer.
Suddenly, a bright light filled the room. Through his sunglasses, Vincent saw a man clad in armour, and in that armour was at least two dozen jewels, each a different colour or shade to the others. Vincent gave an emotionless laugh, and looked directly at Dran.
"Why are we here, Dran?" Vincent said. "Always rushing, aren't you?" Dran replied, running his fingers through his short, white hair. "I just don't want to suffer you longer than I have to," Vincent retorted. "You wound me, Vincent Li," Dran said. "But very well, I shall tell you why you are here."
Dran raised a hand, and the whole room changed. Instead of a very spacious room that was finely decorated, they were stood on apparently nothing. Beneath them was an airship. As soon as Clen saw it, he gasped. Vincent looked at it, and then Dran. "What? What the hell is this?" Vincent demanded.
"Now, you will remember your last visit here," Dran said. "While it may not have been the best thing for you... Let us skip over that, though." "And if I refuse?" Vincent said. "I wont let you," Dran said.
Vincent suddenly found something gripping his body, a ghostly force that lifted him and threw him at least twenty foot backwards, crashing into the floor painfully. Vincent dragged himself to his feet, and glared at Dran from beneath his shades.
"Point taken," Vincent said. "Go on." "Thank you. As I was saying, the whole incident was staged. It was my intention to bring you to my dimension," Dran said. "Or, at least, Nasuk anyway." "Don't you dare call him that," Vincent said.
The atmosphere in the 'room' changed suddenly when Vincent said that. Sure, it had already been bad enough to be able to cut the tension with a blunt knife, but now the hostility that was lurking around the edges had taken over. A bolt of energy flowed around Vincent for a second, before discharging into the floor.
"Oh dear," Dran said. "My apologies." Vincent glared at Dran.
"As soon as he was aware of me, I could freely enter his mind whenever I wanted," Dran continued. "While total control was still not quite able, I could still read his thoughts and even mess with them. "It was not long before I could control him. You must remember, the dragons. All of them, I sent as soon as I had control over Nasuk's mind. I escaped, aware of this island you called 'Mist'."
The images below them changed to the night of the performance, and the swarm of dragons. Vincent was finding it difficult to contain his anger. All of it had been Dran's fault, and here Dran was, almost boasting about it.
"It was perfect, I could create my own world for us to inhabit, and in your dimension too," Dran said, gesturing. When he did so, the scene changed again, to the planet that Vincent and Clen had ended up living on for a few months.
"However, things went... off course. Nasuk was inflicted with amnesia, loosening my control over him. I could still enter his mind, for the memory of me was still there. However, it was hidden, and I was confined to a small section of his mind. "It went on like this for a while. However, soon enough, he remembered me. I seized control once again, and started my plans again. However, you stood in my way, Vincent Li. You fought me when I was in his body. I was handicapped at the time, do not expect our next encounter to go so well."
Vincent swore to himself, he had barely won that fight. However, a sudden sadness washed over him as he slowly realised. He had killed Yoshimitsu, but it had accomplished nothing. Murdered his best friend, and for what? Nothing.
"But now, here you are and-" Dran stopped talking. Vincent was holding the Buster Sword to his throat. "Shut up," Vincent said, his voice shaking. "Just shut up." "Oh, you wish to fight?" Dran said, as the room shifted back to its normal appearence.
"I do not wish to fight you just now," Dran said. "You are tired from your journey. Stay here the night, and we shall fight tomorrow."
Dran turned and started walking for an exit. "Dran..." Vincent said. Dran turned his head, but did not stop walking. "Tomorrow... I wont lose."
Dran gave a small laugh, and turned his head forward again, waving his hand. The room shifted once again. Now, there was a table filled with food in one corner, an area for relaxing in the opposite one, and beds in a third corner. The door slammed. They weren't getting out of this room tonight.
Vincent dropped to his knees, tears rolling down his face.

Kamuy left Vincent to his pain, instead watching the guards carefully. He addressed the guards by the door. "Leave, now." He said simply. They both looked at him, then gave him a rude hand sign before resuming their blank expressions. Kamuy shrugged, his power reaching it limit, his hair turned golden and stood upwards in spikes, his eye's a bright jade green. He spoke with a much harsher voice, "Leave now!" He said. The guards just smiled at him, he shot forwards, and one of them grabbed his throat and slammed him to the ground. Kamuy growled, then kicked him up into the air, shot up after him and sunk his right fist into the man's sternum, then his left into the back of his skull, sending into the floor, creating a small crater. The other guard decided to help out at this point. Kamuy blocked his kick with his leg, jumped into the air and kicked him clear through the door. Then picked up the other one, who seemed just a little groggy, and flung him out to. He looked at the other guards. They shrugged and filed out, and Kamuy fit the remainder of the door back in its frame.
"Alright, I think we're in a little bit of shit." He said baldly. He looked at Vincent, "You should eat and get some rest. I hope you brought some food of your own, because I doubt anything on that table is edible." He walked over to the table and consumed a great deal of food anyways. He stopped when he saw the scandalised looks on their faces. "What? I'm immune to every known poison on earth." He said simply, ate a little more, then promptly dropped into a bed and fell asleep.

Foxy's heart stopped. So. That was what had happened. It made sense now, to her, at least. She had heard some details, of course, but now, the circle was complete. Slowly, she too knelt, and, closing her eyes, murmured something incomprehensible, remember her friend. Then, slowly, she approached Vincent, with a significant look at Clen.
"My friend... I didn't know," she said simply. "Will you fight alone tomorrow, or are you willing to accept help? Would Dran accept it?" she asked pointedly.
OOC-Sorry about the crapness. I'm rather tired atm...

Vincent watched Kamuy as Foxy spoke. Clen shifted uncomfortably, and glanced at Foxy. He interpretted her look carefully, taking it to mean that Vincent needed all the help he could get, and he probably did. This Dran guy was trouble, it didn't take a huge amount of intelligence to get that. Clen crouched, and looked at Vincent.
"I... Thank you, Foxy... Dran isn't going to let anyone but me fight him..." Vincent said, wiping his eyes. "But he's... he fights dirty, he's probably gonna get... some of the guards as well, and it'll be me against them... If you could hold them off for me, even for just a little while... Thanks, Foxy."
Clen pulled Vincent towards him, embracing the young teenager. A warm sensation flooded Vincent - he loved to get hugs or other signs of affection, and Clen knew it. Clen was hoping that it might cheer Vincent up a bit, and it seemed to calm him at least.
"C'mon, let's get some food before the big guy eats it all," Clen said, pulling Vincent up and leading him to the table. On the way, he gave Foxy a thankful look.

Helen watched the entire scene unfold, quietly. She simply sat down on her respective bed, and rested her head in her hands. She thought to herself. Her magic could do virtually anything, but resurrection was totally beyond her reach. Most of her spells only lasted a few days, and then wasted away. The one time she had tried a resurrection spell, it had totally backfired, and brought a terrible foe to life. She couldn't help Vincent with that much.
"I'll help cover you tomorrow." Helen muttered, and adjusted her hat.

Vincent sat on one of the beds. This bed as positioned right next to the wall, and gave him a clear view of the roomif he stood on the bed. He glanced around, and saw a single guard still in the room, which was surprising seeing as Kamuy had made it clear that there was to be no guards. However, after another few seconds of examination, it became clear to him that this person was not under Dran's employment.
"This is not what I had in mind when I decided to come here," Vincent said, collapsing back on his bed, his legs hanging over the edge. He paused to think, what had he been expecting? Not this, certainly. "Fighting, I s'pose... And lots of it. Then again, I'm still gonna be getting that, I bet," He thought to himself, sitting up. "Better get some rest, Vince," Clen said, sitting on the neighbouring bed. Vincent gave a reluctant sort of shrug, and lay down on his bed. Clen laughed, and lay down on his own bed.
"Something's telling me I'll be glad I got him to come along..." Clen thought to himself. "Though I wish he'd tell me how he does some of those creepy ninja-in-the-shadows tricks..."
*****
"Alright," Vincent said, stood up. He was holding the Masamune in his right hand, his eyes fixed on Dran, unblinking. The room had been magically restored to its original state, thanks to Dran, although it seemed several times larger. "No more waiting." "Oh dear," Dran said. "Oh dear, oh dear. Please, I would never fight just anyone. If you truly wish to fight me, you must test yourself against... The guardian."
Vincent mentally slapped himself. Dran would never play fair, and he knew it. Dran gave a humourless laugh, as though he could tell what Vincent was saying, and looked up, all the jewels on his armour glowing. Vincent looked up, as did Clen. One of the guards at the side shifted slightly. A rip had just opened in the air, much like the one that Vincent had arrive through. Inside, a swirl of colours, much too bright to look at without sunglasses. Clen squinted, and tried to look through, while Vincent just glared. Inside, something was moving, a long, snake-like figure.
First, the head came through the portal. A huge head, with two horns, one coming from the top of the head, the other from the dragon's snout. It had a huge mane of golden hair. Next, some of the body, the long, snake-like body with two (comparatively) small arms. The rest of the body, again, with two legs. The dragn roared, and flapped its wings which seemed too small to hold the dragon up. Instictively, Clen reached for his sword, but Vincent stopped him. "This one's mine," he said, his hair flashing into gold.
"Behold, Evrae! Guardian of this realm!" Dran announced.
Vincent launched the first attack, shooting into the air and hovering just in front of the dragon, which seemed to disregard him. Vincent gave a small smirk, and flipped the Masamune into his left hand, gathering energy in his right. Thrusting his arm, he shot the energy as a beam which cut through the air like a knife through butter. The beam smashed and exploded as it hit Evrae, temporairily blinding the people below. However, Evrae turned his massive head to look at Vincent, finaly acknowledging him as a threat. He reared his head back, and gathered up fire inside him, blasting it as a highly concentrated beam of flames, aimed right for Vincent. Vincent shrugged, an aura of ice-cold water forming around him. The flames hit the aura, evaporating the water but not breaking through the aura, which Vincent was working to hold up. After a few seconds, Evrae abandoned this attak, preferring a not-so-subtle approach.
The dragon spun, swinging his vast tail around, trying to his Vincent. Vincent shrugged again, the water turning to ice. While slightly cold, it provided an excellent defense. The tail smashed into the ice, completely shattering the aura, but stopping. Vincent jumped off of apparently nothing, and stood on Evrae's back. Evrae gave an annoyed grunt, and flapped his wings, trying to generate enough wind to push Vincent off. Vincent raised his left hand, a gust of wind flowing from from it, counter-acting Evrae's attempts to shake him off. Vincent ran up Evrae's back, but when he accidently stood on Evrae's wing-joint, the dragon jerked and Vincent was thrown off. Evrae brought his head swinging round, smashing the side of his horn into Vincent, knocking the yound warrior out of the sky. Vincent flipped, and kicked off the floor, headed straight for Evrae.
Evrae shot another jet of fire at Vincent, which hit him squarely. Vincent was smashed into the ground again. However, Vincent had had just about enough now. He stood up, and raised his right hand, a much smaller orb of energy forming there. He drew his arm back, and threw it, the energy still staying firmly in his hand. However, a string of energy shot high into the air, and swerved, spiralled and curved through the air, wrapping itself round Evrae like a net. The dragon was constricted, and couldn't move at all. The string changed colour, to a red-ish colour, and the dragon vanished. A small triangle-based pyramid was in Vincent's hand, with a tiny Evrae trapped inside.
"Very good, Vincent Li," Dran said. Vincent turned and looked at Dran, pure hatred in his eyes. "However, I have one last surprise in store for you."
Dran clicked his fingers. Instantly, the ground below Vincent shifted, and before he could do anything bars formed around him, trapping him. Vincent swore, and hacked at the bars with the Masamune. Nothing.
"And now... Attack."
All the guards (except for one) sprung to action, each armed with a weapon of some sort. They formed around the group, outnumbering them three to one. Clen looked around, his sword held loosely at his side. They'd have to fight their way out.
OOC- Just a li'l disclaimer thing here --- the guards aren't pushovers, so please don't kill them in one hit or anything.
