"Nice tricks, but not good enough." Valon smirked as he decended towards the ground.
A white cloud of energy formed around him and covered his body like a plaster cast. A flash from within was seen and then the mass amounts of blades pierced the white field. All stood tense for a moment until the cast landed and shattered into a million pieces. The blades rested on the ground in a heap with no sign of Valon anywere. A moment later Valon appeared high in the sky above the place where Gilgamesh stood.
"You seem to take me for granted. Your attacks are nothing more than slight diversions to me. You're only getting in the way of my goal. Now that the warm up is done, let's actually start fighting guys." Valon stated coldly.
White electricity began to form on the skin of the Dragon King. Sparks ran from one finger to another and caused his hair to stand at end. The electrical field grew in intensity and soon came to a fevered pitch. Bolts of white lightning struck down at the ground and crackled at the sky as the field continued to grow in power. As suddenly as the field was created it was reabsorbed into Valons body and a long second ticked by.
"Cleansing Light!"
The field that Valon created burst from his frame in a orbing attack of pure white energy, resembling the type of energy that Zebedee used himself. The orb moved outward at a massive speed and began to shatter the temple. The granite from the walls splinted into stone projectiles and rocketed outwards. The attack spead out for two miles from the centeral point of Valon on all sides, leaving nothing but a smoking crater in its wake. All that were inside would have been pushed away with the energy, but he wasn't sure if it had really killed them. The Signet floated near Valon, undamaged by the attack and looked on at the carnage. A sick look of happiness rested in its eye.
"Ah, it feels go to finally not have to hold myself back. I guess I'll have to stop giving these kids a fighting chance and actually live up to my reputation." Valon laughed.

OOC – Sorry about that, I was waiting for Elliot.
BIC –
Aurora stood an army of green… things before him. He crouched low to the ground, his halo glowing more brightly than ever, then he jumped, spinning horizontally in the air, a flat spin, his halo burning more brightly now, caught fire before it unleashed catastrophic fire energy, fire balls followed, heading straight for the… things, Bernard had summoned.
Aurora landed his back to the battle, straight after the last fireball had been flung, on one foot, balancing carefully, before pivoting around onto both feet, as he watched the fire attacks head towards his enemy.

The dust cleared from the massive attack from Valon. Micah stood there breathing heavily, his clothes ripped and torn, and blood running from random burns on his body "I mangaged to block most the damage, with that diamond shell..." he whispered to himself silently. "I don't know if I have enough power to take him out, maybe, if I could use something in the air...."
"I will need another shell..." Micah touched the base of a plant, and it melted down, and its atoms began to split. Soon, sparkling material began to encircle Micah, and he was soon covered in another diamond shell. The rest of the atoms from the vegetation were discarded, and thrown to the ground. "I have no f'ing clue how to get on the offensive." Trying to avoid any further damage, he made a giant diamond dome, and encased himself inside, being able to view the battle, but if needed, he could defend himself while attacking inside his shell.

Dente laughed as he looked in to the bowl of water before him. The reflection in the water was not his own but rather an image of the battle now taking place between the trinity and the others.
"Ah how curious, the protector has become the destroyer. Who would have thought? Valon Lorsha, King of the dragons, defender of the good." The mage laughed again "My my, this could get very interesting, the other two look rather handy also. I wonder how our heros will fair against the combined might of this trio?"
Dente waved his hand over the bowl and the image was gone. He decided to get a closer look, if not in person atleast in spirit. Picking his sceptre up the mage began to draw shapes on the floor. When he was finished he sat down and closed his eyes. In seconds he was standing in the middle of the battle. Attacks were flying over, around and through him.
"Astral projection, is a rather handy trick." He thought as Valon's Cleansing light attack blasted a crater right where the mage was standing. His ghostly form calmly walked over to a large rock and took a seat. Meanwhile his body which was still at his home was glowing with an eery light that slowly sucked the heat out of the air causing insects to fall down dead in mid flight. Dente made a mental note to put the heating on when he was back in his body.

Bernard watched as his root and crystal creations were consumed in the fire. “Damn!” Bernard pulled the reigns hard to the right and began to do wide circles around the battlefield. “So, you have power over fire. Well then, lets see how you fare against a creature not so easily burned!”
Bernard produced a single card from his robes and held it high. “Mageta the Lion!” The card flew up into the air and, like the others, burrowed into the ground. Rocks flew into the air as something massive leapt out of the earth and onto the ground. Standing 10’4” was a stone behemoth. Mageta thrust his fist into the ground and produced a long stone sword. “Since you destroyed my saprolings, I’ll allow you to make the first move.”
OOC – To get an idea of what any of these summons look like just do and image search and type in the summon name. Also 1 exalt for the first person to tell me were these are from. Gil and DL are not allowed to answer.
Also it’s nice to see the forgotten art of just watching a battle hasn’t been lost. One Exalt for Pikachu.

"VALON!" The air over the crater was filled with brilliant lights of gold and white, and a comforting, familiar warmth washed over everybody present. A constant rustle of wind was clearly audible as Zebedee descended from the clouds. The wisps of fog and dust in the air all fled his presence, rushing away and dissipating. Zebedee's clothes were pure white in color, an unearthly shimmer of glory bedecking them. Blood flowed freely from his wrists and ankles, gathering in glowing pools on the earth.
Zebedee glared down, tensing his arm into a fist. "Valon! You realize what you're doing! You're being used, like with Valcara before!" Zebedee's clothes and hair fluttered fiercely. "Listen, you're going to want to cease now, noble King of the Dragons. You'll regret it someday later... And if you don't, I fear I'll need to do something far more drastic." Zebedee paused, hovering over the battlefield and awaiting a response from his friend. His halo, too pure and brilliant to be any earthly material, started glowing even more brightly and emitting rays of intense light.
"I'll be forced to unleash the Maranatha if you don't cease."
OOC: Maranatha=Angelic Sword o' Fire Zebedee got from slaying the Divine Dragon.

"Don't Listen to him Val. We no longer have the need for friends. Not when the world shall be cleansed of these sinners! We were selected for a reason. Do not let this fool sway your decisions! Remember the signet!" Gilgamesh said as he got up from his slump. He walked over towards Zebedee.
"You should leave, we already have one holy man blessed by the divine.....We have no room for a false prophet like yourself!"

Valon looked Zebedee straight in the eyes and smiled slightly. A strong energy began to churn around Valon and become visible. Silver wisps of energy began to reduce his clothing into nothingness and cover his body. As the swirling silver mass covered his body, a dull light pierced through the shroud, a quite beautiful light. As the silver shield disappeared a new vision of Valon appeared.
Black cloth clung to Valon's body tightly under the armor he now wore. Each piece was cast in beautiful silver and perfectly shaped. A pair of plate greaves rose to his knee level and then cut off in a perfect, contouring, smooth line with the knee. Just above this was a lighter set of cuisse and a sleek fauld that protected the rest of his lower body. Above this stood a mighty breastplate with a red claw design on the chest much like the symbol of Drakengrad. On his right side his shoulder was protected by a spiked gardbrace which ran down into a length of chainmail that connected to a midlength gauntlet. In this hand the Aruafon stood powerfully as if it was thirsting for battle. On the left was only a spiked gardbrace, but the rest of Valon's arm was protected by a long dragon skull. Using a past dragons bones as armor of weapons was a massive sign of respect. The armor was all very strong but light as air. Valon could use his full power in this body fitting armor and still be unhindered.
"Zebedee, you suprize me. You always seem to want peace but won't excert yourself to get it. I'm not being used and I never will be again. I chose to follow this path. I was sick of all the constint fighting and if this is what it takes to end it, so be it. If you want to fight me then bring all that you have because that's what it will take. Unless Gilgamesh down there wants to take my place. I still have little fish to take care of such as your friend Prime over there. Just remember Zebedee...We're one and the same. I know you inside and out and I'll take you apart if you get in my way." Valon stated coldly as he waited for Zebedee to respond.

Prime rose slowly behind Valon, nodding his respect to Zebedee. "I remember when you acuired that weapon. It was a long and terrifying battle, though none of the combatants showed it." He held out Primus at arm's length. "The Divine Dragon even managed to swallow my sword, a might trouble-some I recall." Primus began to blaze blue with divine energy, though not of above or below, but of the demension he stood in at that very moment. "I'm afraid I'll have to reach up to you brother, if we're to defeat this fiend before us. With hold none of your power, seek not redemption, or we will likely die. As these are the most powerful men I've ever fought." He looked pointedly at Gilgamesh. "Accept for him, he simply uses a different sort of tactic to fight. Careful, his soul and Aurora's are currently interwoven. Kill him, and you'll kill Aurora as well." Flame reached up to lick the skys, produced by the white blade Primus. Prime's aura of wind caught it, and it spread wildly around him, creating a sphere of flame and void. Prime turned his attention back to Valon, his spirit like a force of nature around him. It thrummed the strings of reality, the space around him becoming a void, and sewing itself back together in equal measure. "Allow me to show you a different kind of wind."
Winds of reality swept towards Valon, tearing at reality around him and Valon himself. Prime swept in with Primus blazed, and cut quickly at Valon, the fire overflowing from the blade and being carried by the wind also tore at Valon. The ambient temperature rose several hundred degree's. Prime grinned from behind his blade. "Any hotter and the whole atmosphere could be set alight, turning this planet into an ever-burning torch in the eternal night! Is that what you desire Valon? He sneered. "To think I used to respect your ideal's and your strength, but now I see your simply a man drowned in his own ambitions. You care not for the people around you, as you've pretended for all these years, and I doubt you care for the planet itself, as its simply a dead hunk of rock without us. " A powerful stroke of his sword flowed past, the winds of reality following it and tearing a crater in the ground hundreds of miles wide. Prime hoped Aurora had sensed that one coming. "You care ONLY for power, and not for any ideal, but simply to see what you can do with it, and the only way you can measure that is by destroying." He laughed, several more stroke of his sword falling on Valon. "And until this point, you've only pretended to be a force for good because it was convenient. Because it means far less people hunting you, and far more supporting you, because in all the world you only care for youself, and you don't wish to die." Powerful lances of wind and blades of flame came at Valon from all directions, directed by Prime's will. "And you've waited, bided your time, until you were powerful enough to destroy it all. And now that you believe their is no danger to you, you've simply pulled off the mask, and begun your 'rightious path'. Perhaps you call it that to confuse us, perhaps you call it that because theirs still an ounce of consious somewhere in your mind. But it doesn't matter now, because here you will DIE!"
A massive beam of energy lanced into orbit, blowing away part of the ozone layer and causing the area around Prime and Valon to become a vaccum for hundreds of miles, air rushing into space briefly until the atmosphere reasserted itself. The lance of energy slowly became a shrinking star in distant sky's.

The flaming blades rained down on Valon in the hundreds and all was quite. The very light of the planet seemed to vanish for a few moments and then reappear. A massive pillar of smoke stood from the ground to the sky where Valon was. All was silent and still, all but the pulsing within the smoke and the Signet.
From the smoke a white aura washed forth and dismissed all the smoke. Valon floated there, unscathed and protected by his aura. The Aruafon shone with an angry aura of red as if it thirsted for the blood of Prime. Valon smiled slightly as turned to face the warrior that had just attacked him.
"You just don't get it do you. You say that my ambitions overwhelm me? You think I don't care for the people of this planet and my friends? You are more foolish than I thought. All I have done for years is try to teach you all that peace is the only answer but you keep fighting like a bunch of children! I've had so many friends die at the hands of other friends that I was removed from the world of emotion. The only thing that I can feel now is pity for all of you, and at the same time...love. I love all of my friends but if they are going to act like in horrible judgement and cause the end of the world I would rather be the one who kills them than to let someone else do it! I lust not for power, but for peace. The only way to acheive peace is to have the power to retain it. My path is rightious and my thoughts are clear. If your ego gets in the way of clear thought and you decide to continue this battle with me then you will be dead before the day is out. There is only one person on this planet that I cannot bring myself to kill and she isn't here." Valon stated calmly as he turned his attention from Prime anc back to Lee.
"My old friend, the choice is yours. The Signet is not a tool of evil but a weapon of good. If you choose to attack me you will be no better than Basilisk. Make your choice."

BIC: "I don't care for you answer." Prime said. "All people deserve to make their own choices, even I believe that, though I wouldn't fight for it. You propose to take away that choice, even for the sake of peace, what you propose is wrong." He shrugged. "Stop lying to yourself and admit your true nature, it pains me to see you holding yourself back. Give me a real battle, or I WILL kill you. If you try to kill my friends, I will kill you. You can destroy the rest of the planet for all I care, but give me a good fight before you die. Its no fun if you don't fight back." Prime turned to Lee. "Fight or don't, I care not. I wouldn't have you die either way. However, if you can't bring youself to fight this battle, then you may want to know that Bernard, the last of the Trinity, is currently attacking the weaker members of those gathered here. They could likely use a little help." He said. He pointed his blade at Valon. "Now, fight me in earnest. Conversation time is over."

OOC: This is what I was talking about before, nobody is prepared to lose. If you two continue the fight like this things are going to start getting rediculous. This is meant to be enjoyable but everyone is getting so wound up over it. Yes, I know there hasn't been a lot of arguing so far but I'd like to stop it before it even starts. Don't spoil the topic for the sake of your pride. Remember, this is supposed to be fun! If you aren't willing to lose once in a while then don't roleplay, it's a simple as that.

OOC- One thing you don't seem to understand is that I've been using Valon for neary 6 years in RP and his is the single most powerful character still existing from the war. You haven't earned the right to call Prime a God-Character and it's gonna take a long time till you earn that right. If you want to continue this argument in private that's cool, but if I keep typing I'm going to go off on someone. My car just about flipped and I nearby died, so don't piss me off.

Prime sighed. "Very well, continue on your misguided corse, I've lost interest in all of you. Only know this, if you kill my friends, I will hunt you down and kill you, to the very edges of the universe." Winds of reality whipped around Prime's figure, tearing him out of existance, and he disappeared from the battle.
OOC: I just lost a great deal of respect for you Dragon Lord, whether you've been in a car accident or not. Acting like a stuck-up, superior vet, like no other character can match yours, and simply wanting to win above all else. Well, I expected more from you, not arguments and a bunch of battle crap, but a viable story we could all get into. Instead, to my disappointment, all you've provided us with is anger and a battle you refuse to let us win, even if your character has to tear apart the boards.
And I remind you, the power of my character is not your's to determine, it is MY right, MY choice. I've only been on these boards three years, that is true, but I've been the single most active RPer out of all of you, saying I haven't earned the right renders all of that nil. Only Lee has the right to veto the power of my character, it is none of your concern. You have a problem, you go through Lee, not through my spleen.

OOC: and that is why your a hypocrite prime.... you say things like "how can gil be more powerful than me?" or "your character cant just start strong", yet you say its our choice and RIGHT to determine our own power levels? WTF is wrong with that prime?
also, dl is the only one god modeing here.... me and bulba are not uber strong, in fact gil is deathly weak....
and who said the bad guys had to lose? if thats the case, this rp board will fail, because it is extreamly one tracked, and not open to inturpretation....

OOC: Grammar and spell check requested, otherwise. *ahem* I have been rping for three years at a respectable level. That gives me the right to have a powerful character, as much right to it as anyone else. I started weak and I grew strong, and since then my power level's have skipped across the boards like mad. This isn't Prime's maximum power level, no, but it is considerable, and whether you'd been rping 3 years long than me or 100 it still doesn't give you the right to shrug off my attacks like their rubber bullets fired at a blue whale.
As for your 'god modding' Gilgamesh. Well, I can't say I'm against your way of doing things. Its certainly interesting. Not only can Aurora not break free, but you can't hit him either, which effectively means he has to ignore you. Its not very creative, as I've seen it done many times outside of RP, but it is effective and it adds a little variety into the mix. For that, I thank you, it's not often that RP gets any good flavor anymore.
As for 'how can gil be more powerful than me' I never said that. I said I wouldn't agnowledge your strength until you stopped being a prick and started acting like a man. And that holds true for everyone on these boards. I'm well aware of your strength of old. (Though I personally believe a characters strength should decrease in tendem to the length of the rper's absence. Coming back after 3 years and ruling us all is just a tad F*CKED UP.) And true, in a few storys, the bad guys win. But for the continuation of the larger story, the boards themselves, the bad-guys have to LOSE. That is my logic. Its good logic. Deal.

OOC: I don't see why it should be the rule that either side HAS to win, this isn't a movie, it's roleplay. Also you have to remember, good and evil are relative concepts as what you may see as good and evil I may not. Also I don't believe Prime should be anywhere near as powerful as Valon, the reason being: Over your 3 years of roleplay you haven't finished enough topics and the fact that you start a lot of topics counts for nil. I apply the same thinking to my own characters, none of mine are that strong because I have only finished a handful of topics. You can't start topics where your character gets a pwer boost and then when they die just keep that boost anyway otherwise we could all have god-like characters.

OOC: Both of you calm down. As I have said to both of you, though you both deny that you are, you both continue this spat.
Bad guys do not have to lose. Bad guys are not always bad guys. Sometimes, the "Bad Guy" winning can lead to a happy ending. Also, ORP is episodic in nature. If'n a bad guy thrashes a good guy, then the good guy has motivations to pursue him.
It's actually happened often.
Miko beats Zebby, Nat, Ender, etc. in Winter, leading to Cherrygrove and Summoner tension. Rinamen beats Hector and co. in that one Godess topic, firing their hatred. Silumas defeats the Cerulean House, leading to plots to try and save Misty and such.
A loss here is not the loss of a war. This is act 1 of a new season, and now we'll be pursuing and/or fleeing these recurring villains.
Power can be any level for anybody, if they are logical, friendly, and non-disruptive about it.
Ending the warning on this note: I will double the penalties to either one of you on the next incident. 20% more warning and -10 Karma, possibly Dcfaulting, depending on the offense.
