Damn, someone noticed. EDIT: Quick sketch I finished a few minutes ago: Took about an hour in PSPv9, using nothing but a brush. And maybe a bit of smudging.

XD That'd be something to see... Knowing my parents go kamikaze on anything that's remotely dodgy, swearing or anything "uncivilised". It's a wonder I'm still allowed on forums. ^^" *goes to tell them*

I forgot if I every posted this photo I took back when I was in Intro to Photography...Probably one of my best shots back in intro... hard one too, because that's my own hand, and at the time, I wasn't flexible enough to pull off a shot like that. I had to press the button down using a stick and my stomach. Photo was taken with a fully manual camera with real black and white film (not that fake stuff) and developed and printed all by myself. O'course, I got better pictures now, but I rarely scan anything...

Pancil drawings usually result in gaps in the pixles. When there is a gap, photoshop will color everything that is white the other color. In short, it is not contained. You need to darken the lines around your drawing, via inking or another method, to make sure there are no gaps for the color to leak out of.

Or, you could put the lineart on a "multiply" layer above the colouring layer. Helps with my lineart, at least.

Ctrl + M brings up the curves dialogue. Use that to up the contrast of the pencil while whitening the smudges. My friend taught me that one, and it was amazing. Also, I've learned that if you want to color a drawing, the best thing to do is to make a selection of the place you want to color (magic wand), and then just manually do things with the airbrush. That way you can do highlights and shadows and stuff. (Though of course, I don't often color drawings ) I think this is my most recent colored drawing, but I think I posted it already

I will give someone an unspecified amount of respect if they can take this pic (http://images.amazon.com/images/G/01/videogames/detail-page/b000aa5wrq-new_chaos_icons.gif) and draw it in the style of an old 1880's-1920's fancy rich person. Specifically, like this: Tuxedo covering upper-torso and arms, shoulder-guards on top of tuxedo, gauntlets reshaped into gloves, Slacks covering lower torso, Spatz placed over boots, fancy mustache and monocle placed on the helmet, large horns on helmet removed and replaced with Top Hat. Feel free to adjust the pose and posture and move the weapons, slight artistic liberties are allowed
I'm looking for someone who could DRAW this, and if you can, then I'll love you forever

Well, I don't know about your skills, but I think mine are just fine. Here's Damien (Not Pikachu <<"), one of my RP characters on another forum (and he's only half-some alien, half-another alien... Which is my excuse for bad proportions ^^): Appreciations will be commented... Or, indeed, vice versa ^^"

Other than that, I'm especially impressed with the cool glyphs on his face.
