Based on this picture, I have concluded that Homestuck is real and that guy has captchalogued a bunch of Spearows in his HAIR GEL MODUS[/b]. It allows his to store cards equal to head space and retrieve them as long as he doesn't mind getting his SCENE HAIRSTYLE[/b] messy.

Interested? Well, maybe we can still get you in. I mean, not gonna lie, I'd rather have twelve players than thirteen, but this RP probably still won't start for another month-ish and if someone can't be accounted for by then we might need to call in backup.
I'm kinda leaving Elliot in charge of making sure the Pokecharms kids know to be here when the RP starts, because he has other ways of contacting them (Pokecharms).

Well, I could bail on this if we need room. It's not as if I have a lack of topics needing me, so it might be for the best if I make room for eager newcomers.
If nobody wants to take my spot though, I'll keep goin'.

Yeah true. You are kinda booked up.
Love to have you on board for this one, but I'd happily take Shroud on if you're not up for another project. It's just too bad the Dewey Modus would get shelved. That was a great idea.

I'm with Tangrow on this one, actually.
Whatever you guys say is good, because you all are having really great ideas. Though I'm going to vouch that the lot of us stop planning so much. It's the lack of planning that made us all smile at Homestuck. And what will make us love this RP.

But Homestuck is actually planned to a considerable degree!
It's Problem Sleuth and the others that weren't planned at all, and I can say with certainty that everything about Homestuck that makes me love it more than the rest of MSPA is made possible by the higher degree of planning.
I mean I don't want every move scheduled in advance (and if I don't then you can be sure no one else does), but I'm totally down for ideas (like Biscuit's) that take a certain degree of forethought and coordination.

The basic outline is an absolute must. Things like planets + prospit/derse/THIRD PLANET( ) need to be established in order to get a smooth flow throughout the RP. I do like the idea of the third planet, because it really lends itself to dreamselves (which I think we should also definitely have). Have we decided on what bearing our titles should actually have? Obviously in Homestuck the Knight/Maid of Time had control over time but the other titles haven't really come into play that much.

I think Heir of Breath was validated when John made the paradox clones. But oh my god I think I'd rather leave the paradox clones out of this RP if we can do that without breaking the game.
Anyway, I picked a broadly applicable title, the Duke of Decay, in the hope that story circumstances would probably somehow or another legitimize the choice. I'm not too worried about the matter though really.

I'd rather leave paradox clones out. That implies CONVOLUTED BULLSHIT.
But yeah, I guess if we can make the titles work our own way that's cool too. Squire of Ice makes some sense just taking into consideration the planet so that's alright.

Incidently, you may or may not have noticed:
Heir of Breath = Land of Wind and Shade Seer of Light = Land of Light and Rain Knight of Time = Land of Heat and Clockwork Witch of Space = Land of Somethingabouturaniumorsomething and SOMETHING TO DO WITH SPACE
Which is fitting for all of our titles anyway, I do believe

That's what I was thinking - the titles were linked to the planets/elements. ^^
Which is why I made mine Synchronizer of Living Metal - as that's sort of what he's meant to do eventually and it works with his element of Biomechanics and with the Land of Synthesis and Equilibrium.

Well, cH's planet is Tides and Shores, his element is Holy, and his title is Highness of Highness.
So you can see, cH isn't so much associated with a specific object or item as he is a state of being. It's all about the positive, brah. Mek ya be feelan' righ', bwai.

Actually if you'd scrolled up one post from Elliot's you might have seen this: Yeah true. You are kinda booked up. Love to have you on board for this one, but I'd happily take Shroud on if you're not up for another project. It's just too bad the Dewey Modus would get shelved. That was a great idea.Lee said that he might bail on this project to make room for Shroud, and I was disappointed that the clever Dewey Modus Lee came up with for his character wouldn't get used. Then Elliot pointed out your Modus out of curiosity that yours and Lee's might be the same. Which leads to the question: How does the Dewey Shelf Modus work?

Ah ok. Sorry, I've just been in Sleep Deprived Mode for a week no so things are fuzzy. If Lee is bowing out then I won't have to worry about coming up with another one (I never saw his ) But mine is slightly different than what Lee described. I liked the complexity that John had to deal with when it came to his items cause that made for good jokes and out-of-the-box thinking. So I came up with the Dewey Shelf Modus. Basically (this is how it starts out) the modus has 5 "shelves" and each shelf is made up of 5 cards. The first card in each shelf is referred to as the Call Number Card. You fill up those 5 cards before you can touch the actual shelves behind them. Once those cards are filled, they determine the Dewey Decimal Range of each shelf. Hopefully your following. I'll give an example. Lets say the first five items my character picks up are a cardboard box, a floppy disc, a comic book, a package of gummy worms, and an R.L.Stine book. So we have this Shelf 1 [Cardboard Box]-[]-[]-[]-[] Shelf 2 [Floppy Disk]-[]-[]-[]-[] Shelf 3 [Comic Book]-[]-[]-[]-[] Shelf 4 [Gummy Worms]-[]-[]-[]-[] Shelf 5 [R.L.Stine Book]-[]-[]-[]-[] Until the first 5 card have items in them, the Modus acts like a simple inventory. Once the first 5 cards are full (like above) is when the properties of the card become active. It first starts by "re-shelving" the first 5 items correctly. So the inventory would like this. Shelf 1 [Cardboard Box(688)]-[]-[]-[]-[] Shelf 2 [Floppy Disk(004)]-[]-[]-[]-[] Shelf 3 [Comic Book(817)]-[]-[]-[]-[] Shelf 4 [Gummy Worms(641)]-[]-[]-[]-[] Shelf 5 [R.L.Stine Book(813)]-[]-[]-[]-[] Which immediately becomes this- Shelf 1 [Floppy Disk(004)]-[]-[]-[]-[] Shelf 2 [Gummy Worms(641)]-[]-[]-[]-[] Shelf 3 [Cardboard Box(688)]-[]-[]-[]-[] Shelf 4 [R.L.Stine Book(813)]-[]-[]-[]-[] Shelf 5 [Comic Book(817)]-[]-[]-[]-[] At this point, depending on the setting of the Modus (the Dewey Shelf Modus has two - Start Stack and End Stack (mine is End Stack)) The first five now form the shelves. With the End Stack setting turned on, each Shelf will consist of items whose dewey decimal numbers fall after the item number on the first card in the shelf but before the item number that starts the next shelf. Lets add a few items to make it supper clear. My character picks up an iPhone and a book of Oil Painting. They would fall into his inventory like this. Shelf 1 [Floppy Disk(004)]-[iPhone(384)]-[]-[]-[] Shelf 2 [Gummy Worms(641)]-[]-[]-[]-[] Shelf 3 [Cardboard Box(688)]-[Oil Painting(754)]-[]-[]-[] Shelf 4 [R.L.Stine Book(813)]-[]-[]-[]-[] Shelf 5 [Comic Book(817)]-[]-[]-[]-[] So hopefully that makes sense. Hopefully it sounds neat. A few random facts about the Dewey Shelf Modus - Item Que - Only items on Call Number Cards can be accessed. Any of the Call number Cards can be accessed and once they are the next card rolls forward and becomes the Call Number Card - Unless you use the bookmark feature. Bookmarking means you can take an item from a Call Number Card, but the next card will not roll forward and take its spot and once your finished with it you can put it right back as a Call Number Card. At any time you can use the Optimize Shelf Space setting to automatically re-shelve everything in a way that maximizes potential shelf space. You can use Book Mark and Optimize Shelf Space together, so that if you want to make sure an Item remains on a Call Number Card it is permitted but it can only be done for one item. (otherwise when not using the Optimize Shelf Space setting you can have as many things bookmarked as you like.) Also, for some unknown reason, items that go into your inventory (despite how clean they may be) will always come out grimy and smudged. This is apparently normal for anyone using a Dewey Shelf Modus. What ya'all think?
