It is the most charming webcomic.it also features the highest per page average of girls standing in awkward sexy poses out of every cool webcomic.

They're not twelve, get out of town. Those kids are CLEARLY not twelve. They are CLEARLY at least eighteen.
Like, are you serious?
Like, shut the fuck up.
They're not twelve.

God what the EFF. They're obviously not twelve, can we be serious here? They're about as twelve as the Homestuck kids and trolls are thirteen.
Which is to say, not at god damned all.

He doesn't even try to make them seem twelve. I just read through the whole thing and there were probably 6 strips where they behaved their age. No 12 year old is as witty as any of them. No 12 year old has awesome hair like Shauna.
Maybe it's because they're British. Maybe British children are all super mature and we're just uncultured American brutes.

Just read through Nuzlocke. If you don't know what a nuzlocke pokemon run is, basically there are two rules: if a pokemon faints, release it, and catch the first pokemon in an area and nothing else. And then there's this comic which isn't pretty, but it is funny with the way it spins the pokemon story.

I am caught up and I enjoy it. I don't really enjoy any of the fan comics but that doesn't stop me from wanting to make one.
Ruby's Rules: 1. Get money 2. Get laid 3. Erry day 4. Hyphy

I haven't played any pokemon game past FR/LG. All this platinum/ruby/emerald/diamond/coal/quartz/topaz storyline stuff is bullshit.

It's actually not a hoss. It's a double bird.
I flipped it your way.

I started reading Bobbins, the precursor to Scary Go Round. I stopped. It's terrible. I take comfort in the hope of him continuing his trend of each new comic he puts out being much better than the last. EDIT: SGR is also approaching Bad Machinery levels of good. See?EDIT 2: And the art has caught up as well.

I just finished the archive yesterday. I'd say it's worth it. He introduces the Bad Machinery kids towards the end.

Asmo. For the first time ever, you're wrong about webcomics.
Read Bad Machinery at once.

I'm so behind right now. The only webcomics I've read in the last month or two are gunnerkrigg and the meek. lots of catching up to do

Sometimes I like to get really far behind because then I can just read a whole bunch at once.
I'm starting Bad Machinery over now that I've read SGR. I am seeing things in an all new light.

Some of the shit that goes down in SGR makes the Bad Machinery mysteries look like chump change.

That's why I'm kind of still preferring Bad Machinery though. I'm a bit put off by all the random deaths in SGR. Bad Machinery's consistently lighter and lower-stakes tone is a better fit for the silliness and charm of the dialogue.
Also I'm eleven or twelve chapters in and I still can't find it in me not to find Shelley my least favorite character. There's a Mary Sueness about her which I can't even quite express but which bothers me all the same. Honestly I quite preferred Rachel and Tessa as protagonists. I'd rather spend time with characters who are honestly bitchy and enjoy their bitchiness (I mean me enjoying their bitchiness, obviously they already do), than with some self-righteous redheaded broad whom I'm supposed to agree with on everything.
Although the plus side of spending time with Shelley is that it also involves spending time with Amy who's a bit slutty and has a load of tattoos, so that works!
P.S. Like I said, I'm only about a fifth of the way through the archive so far, so I don't say anything about Shelley with the assurance that I can't possibly change my mind about her. Of course I can and probably will. But so far... she ain't got nothin' on Lottie and the gang.
