Anyways, as you all should know, Luigilover and Clicker are stuck using their boarding school computers with a word based filter. Anywho, that is a very bad thing for their activity when a topic with the F-Bomb won't leave the main page.
So, you guys have two options: Either we stop swearing, and cut it out of all current topics, or I turn the filters on while the girls are in school, and off when they are home (Summer, half of December, Easter Break). Personally, I'm in favor of just filtering, though I'm hoping it works before the filter reads, instead of after, since that'd be a moot point. So, if y'all agree to it, say hello to your new list of swears.
Funk Curt Dirk Shirt (Or maybe Shatner... I'm not sure.)
Anything else that should be changed to help evade the filter? Of course, give me a one letter replaced decent word, so that you don't trigger the filter yourselves.
Anybody who objects to the filters being reinstated, just remember: Clicker is actually a fairly active RPer in several big topics (Triannual, Summoner Style, Shrinking Feeling, Asikne Kiror, Shattered). Do you want to delay any of those any further? And L^2 is actually going to start an RP some time after Shattered ends, so don't think she isn't a contributor, either.

Those replacements are embarrassing. Classier:
f*ck c*nt d*ck sh*t
Preferable, no?

True, though I do believe it's be amusing to hear Gil, next time he comes around, talking about the size of his duck and the color and consistancy of his shirts.

Funny, but not worth the demeaning effect it would have on the sensible use of swear words in RP and fiction.

Just star a letter out.

Do any of your characters actually swear in English, Pohatu? Yeah, I'll probably just star a letter or two out. The suggestion was all in jest, since I jest wanted to let you all know the plight of the two girls.

First two examples I could think of off the top of my head. And The Chestnut Tree definitely has some swearing, and I bet some of my other fiction does too. Needless to say, "that extra drop of f*ck-you" is preferable to "that extra drop of fork-you". If you can believe it!

Or how about they use a proxy? Is that possible or is it some other kind of web browser filter?

It filters webpages based on the text on the page instead of the url, and then flags the initial link used, IIRC. So that's why I'm hoping that Proboards' filter kicks in before their filter, or else this'd all be a moot point.

I am morally opposed to censorship and find this filter at odds with my rights under the first amendment. Clearly, the two need to go to a different boarding school.
Asterisking things out will do just fine.

Seriously.....Bollocks to that! What a fucking ridiculous thing to do.
I don't want to be a complete cunt about it all but they should just turn round to their school and tell them where to put themselves!
"Oh noes, it offends jesus when swears are used" serioulsly, that school needs to get out of the fucking 18th century, stupid over-religious cunts.
What is the point in having codes for swearing.... Lets just bloody say them and not give two shits. Despite the Bloodhound gang reference I'm not even willing to say Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo cause its just not worth it
I understand that you're "protecting the RP" and all that other bollocks, but seriously, word filters? What are we, 5? No wait, I was saying fuck at age 5 (no shit, I thought it was a brilliant word).... 3 then.. 3 works...
/expletive-laiden rant
Can I have their school email to tell them they can all eat a bag of dicks?

I've ranted enough times about free speech for y'all to know my stance. But I'm currently very apathetic so maybe I'll wall-of-text when I'm feeling more spiffy.

could you filter it so there was a bolded or italicized letter in the middle? sometimes filters are like "durr there are some b's and brackets in this word clearly it is not profane" ie: f uck also it makes it look like you're really putting emphasis on parts of words

& n b s p ;
If you put it all together, it gets rendered as a space, but it flubs up censors if you put it before or after a swear. Or in the middle.
Now we need to know when the boarding school censor kicks in. Is it reading the rendered page or the straight html?
If it's the straight html, then & n b s p ; should work. If it's reading the rendered page, then you'll need asterisks.
Though I support Rupert sending them an angry letter instead of me figuring out a simple html hack.
