Though I'm sure Elliot would lend his vocal gifts
Wait, what? Voice acting?

No, I meant stealing your voice like in "The Little Mermaid", of course.

I'd do it. I actually would like to be a voice actor.

So, we've got you and I for the for sure attempts at the voice acting. My sis will fill in if we need a female voice somewhere, I bet, although her voice doesn't quite fit either of the female leads (too cutesy for either of them, I think.), so she'll probably be relegated to covering some of Steph's female summons. I probably can also get Kevin to contribute, which'll be nice since he's got good range (can go quite high, and quite low, so he's can cover not only his own appearance as a Summon, but also a few others.)

Also, BTW, here would be a good place to suggest ideas for your attacks. Remember, even if you aren't a main or a guest party member, it's likely that at some point you'll appear as a Summon attack of Loogs'. And if not there, well, there's still the possibility of a member collosseum where you'd be able to fight several dozen different members at your fancy, so that could be your big in-battle appearance.

It'd help a bit if we knew what kind of character we were. What do you kids call them? Classes? Jobs? But anyway, I like this idea:
Tortoise Rage Edgar appears and calls for his friends. They stampede across the screen slowly (one step at a time) and each step does damage.

It's a Final Fantasy style RPG. To sum up what we have so far: -Lee: Role: The Mario. Balanced but not great at anything. Attack Theme: Staff powers, such as Locking enemies to freeze them in place. -Photu: Role: The Big Guy, being a Camel Knight and all. Attack Theme: Fads, mostly, with some other eclectic stuff thrown in. For example, he can Magikarp Rain, which... well, rains Magikarp on his opponents for damage. -Loogs: Role: The Summoner. Attack Theme: Calls in favors from other members in order to use various big, but very expensive attacks. A good example is her Coco attack, which calls him to rush in from offscreen and attempt a one-hit kill Ninja stab. -Choobs: Role: The Oracle, lots of effect moves. Attack Theme: Plot/RP related, like using a Plot Twist to confuse enemies, or Flying Away with the World. -V101: Role: The Thief. Fragile, with little firepower, but FAST. Attack Theme: Nonchalance, in a way. Such as her "IDGI" attack, which makes her much more damage resistant for a short length of time. -Kazkame: Role: Hunter. Has specific attacks designed for specific types of enemies, and when using those, extremely effective. Attack Theme: Joins the party as a reformed Noob, allowing him to use various techniques of theirs as well as special anti-noob techniques. Examples: Grammar Bomb, an attack that damages opponents based on their grammar skills (Yes, Photu's ridiculously weak to it.), and Stern Correction, a cuff in the head that stuns enemies and deals extra damage to noobs. -BB/DL: Role: Attack Theme: -'boom: Role: Attack Theme: Still working on you three, somewhat. I know a few moves, but not your general party roles or the overall theme you all will go by.

Pohatu's skill set, Fadamancy, includes such techniques as:
keep the exodus neutral - Pohatu creates a safeguard that protects the party from debuffs and ailments for five turns. post in the rp - Pohatu spurs on another chosen combatant to take his or her turn next. Chivalry Delights - Pohatu protects a chosen unit for the next round, taking any damage that would be inflicted upon the unit. T-T-TERRIANJACK! - Pohatu calls in two to four Terrian Brogue duplicates who are easily dispatched, but who may be commanded individually until their defeat. Point DL - Pohatu performs an attack that causes very little damage -- somewhat more if DL & Bulbs are on the field -- but if it defeats a target, the party will receive double the experience and gold generated by that target. Current events - Pohatu resurrects a defeated unit to fight once more. Photopooh - Pohatu bewilders enemies by misspelling his own name, possibly causing confusion. Then again, aren't we all? - Pohatu attempts to completely negate the damage and other effects of a chosen target's next action. V101 for Admin - Pohatu distracts the masses with absurd propaganda, lowering the accuracy of all enemies. MAGIKARP RAIN - As Lee said, this is Pohatu's most epic technique. He barrages the enemies with a monsoon of Magikarp that leaves little in its wake. I HAVE THE SHOUTBOX - Pohatu's defensive stance increases his resistance to physical and magical damage. Hide and Seek - Pohatu's devious topic-shifting raises the evasion of a chosen ally. (invisible) - Pohatu becomes invisible for a round, able to move and attack undetected.
As you can see, Fadamancy grants Pohatu control over all wiki-recognized fads, even those coined and/or propagated by other members. The largely defensive nature of these skills clearly makes Pohatu the tank character, although T-T-TERRIANJACK! and MAGIKARP RAIN are notable exceptions.

If only RPGMaker was that versatile, but I will try my best to replicate the desired effects.
Remember, there's a "Disc 1" and a "Disc 2", so the Fadamancy will most likely become dominant in his Disc 2 form. Disc 1 probably will rely on your older, heavily tied into a personal mythology, forum persona.
Yes, there will be two versions of each character, though if I find it hard to think of attack ideas, they'll just share one with slight changes.
For reference: Disc 1 is CCGCenter through the end of the Snitz. Disc 2 is TCGPlayer, through the present day.
And people show up in slightly messed up order for the sake of plot/balance. Because otherwise, yeah... Some characters wouldn't show up until part way into disc 2.
EDIT: Also, I love the "Delights", since I can just fill in the movelist with them. Need an MP restore tech? Casterly Delights. Need a speed booster? Cavalry Delights. Etc.
It's looking to be about 15 techs per character per disc, with twelve learned naturally, and three secret/hidden techniques that need quests to earn.

Oh, interesting, well, then, older ideas from the original game topic will suffice for my Disc 1 version. But you don't think it might be overly ambitious to go that far back in history?

Not really. I can gloss over it and use fake events/story set up to cover most of it. It's really where I get free reign, since I don't need to parallell too many events. (1920's glitch, board renovations, Charms being founded, but y'know, not too much stuff.)
Besides, it's fanservice in a way to the oldest members here. And it educates the young whipper snappers about the good old days in a fun, humorous manner.

Hmmm... I've started to revive this project. I need good class names for: Disc 1 Kuroboom Disc 2 Choobs Disc 2 DL/BB
And I need to redo a lot of the sprites, and dig up all those music files from my other compuiter... But yeah, this project is under way again. I can't abandon RPGMaker for more than half a year or so at a time, it seems.

Disc 2 Boom's title is going to Flame something or something of Flames. Not sure on King, Lord, or whatever, yet.
Disc 1 Choobs is a Plot Shepherd.
Disc 1 BB/DL is Missouri's Company.

Well, I've been doing some more spriting, and I've got Disk 1 Choobs, BB, and Photu finished (two were easy fixes, just adding shiny lenses and a more accurate skintone to Choobs, and a small animation tweak to Photu.)
BB was a bit more involved of a project. And I'm up next. Then, probably, Boom, and DL. Loogs should just be another quick patch job, though I still debate which outfit for which disk.
I've already got Disk 2 Sprites for myself, Loogs, and Choobs done. The rest are either going through redesigns, or simply did not have one in the first place.
Though these are only the overworld sprites, this is very important. The character design phase, essentially, is right now, and determines how difficult the rest of the project will be. DL, Boom, any suggestions on your costuming? I'm going a bit more real-world with most sprites, so there isn't the confusion like last time (people thinking that they'd be represented by their RP characters or whatever)
EDIT: Here's a simple checklist of playable characters that I need to do stuff for: Disk 1: Pohatu: Armored camel knight in silvers and golds. Overworld Sprite: Done Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
Choobs: Guy with shades, trenchcoat, and mussed hair. Overworld Sprite: Done Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
Loogs: Young lady with fanned (?) hair and a red/gold dress. Overworld Sprite: Done Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
Lee: Long hair loose, white jacket and white pants. Overworld Sprite: Done Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
BB: A fellow with a well kept beard, wearing blue and white armored robes. Overworld Sprite: Done Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
DL: No idea. Overworld Sprite: Not Done. Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
Boom: No idea. Overworld Sprite: Not Done. Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
Elliot: No idea. Overworld Sprite: Not Done. Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
Kara: Fairly traditional samurai garb, with a kasa and ponytail. Not sure on gear colors, though I think they'll be more towards greens and blues, bar the hat. Overworld Sprite: Not Done. Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
Disk 2: Pohatu: Armored camel dragoon in glowing gold armor. Overworld Sprite: Not Done Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
Choobs: Sleeker trenchcoat with armor built in, and rose shades. Overworld Sprite: Done Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
Loogs: Young lady with fanned (?) hair and a grey robe about her. Overworld Sprite: Done Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
Lee: Long hair in a ponytail, dark grey clothes under a green cloak. Overworld Sprite: I should hope it's finished! It's been in my sig for years! Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
BB: As before, but a slightly longer, more haggard beard, and much more heavily armored robes. Overworld Sprite: Not Done Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
DL: No idea. Overworld Sprite: Not Done. Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
Boom: No idea. Overworld Sprite: Not Done. Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
Clicker: No idea. Overworld Sprite: Not Done. Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
Kaz: Probably with the 'fro/bandana combo we've seen before, though I'm not sure what colors would work best in the outfit/sunglasses would be redundant with Choobs' defining characteristic. Overworld Sprite: Not Done. Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
Kimishiro: No idea. Overworld Sprite: Not Done. Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
Babs: Probably something along the lines of a hat/scarf combo, though I don't know what to do with the rest of the outfit. Overworld Sprite: Not Done. Battle Sprite: Not Done Face: Not Done
